EAP Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 This is a huge issue. I'm a college student and all of the guys here are generally from age 18-21. The only older guys are the masters students and most of them probably wouldn't give me the time of day. I don't drink, I don't party, where do I meet my dream guy?
mammasita Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Venture out off of campus. Join some local (non school affiliated) groups/clubs. If you're feeling froggy, give on line dating a whirl. Based on your age, you might find it a struggle now.....but in time....maybe 2-3 years, I'm sure you will have no issues finding an older man with similar interests. You are young, enjoy it - with or without an older guy. 1

Get involved in some of the clubs and activities at your college, and I'm sure you'll come across some of the older guys. When I was 19 and in college, my now husband was 25 and going to the same college. My previous boyfriend also went to the same college as me and was in his mid twenties when I was 18 and a Freshman. The older guys are there, you just need to get yourself out there and involved in order to meet them. 1

Why not date your age.... if your dream guy is 19 right now... does it make him.any less of your dream guy just because he is not older than you. 1

I had no friends because I refused to hang out with my mindless peers. I've always dated older guys and I can't see myself with someone my age.
