ak8o8 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 A few days ago, I started a thread about how I found out my ex moved on to another man. This was the day before V Day and her man had sent flowers to the office (my ex and I work together). Since then I've gotten very little sleep and all I can think about is my ex. I've been maintaining NC (for over two months now) but feels like I'm back to the first couple of weeks. Writing letters and working out helps some but today it didn't seem to work when I tried to go to sleep cause I laid in bed thinking about her. I haven't been able to see my therapist in two weeks because she has been out with the flu...not sure what else I can do. Is this normal?
th90 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Yes it's absolutely normal. Sometimes there's no reason for a setback it just happens out of the blue. We're just going through the motions. I hope you'll be able to find a way to feel better. It works differently for different individuals so I don't find suggesting anything will be of any help to you. March on! 1
