CatGirlz Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Hi, Just curious to see y'all's opinion on this one. My now ex has ignored me for the last week - even Valentines Day. On Friday I sent him a break up text, which I know is harsh but I think this is obviously what he wanted anyway. I was not rude. I did ask for my stuff back and some of it is quite meaningful to me. But he had totally ignored this too! I even told him he could leave it on his porch and I would get it when he isn't home. Wouldn't you think this is something that he would want to do? I don't get it.
creighton0123 Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Have a friend of yours or his get your stuff
TaraMaiden Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 ... or engage the company of a good supportive buddy, go over to his pad, knock loudly, and when he answers the door, walk in saying "I'm here for my stuff." Say nothing else, gather it all up, pack it into bags, boxes or whatever you bring with you - then say 'ok, thanks.' and leave. Your buddy can fend the comments, questions and discussion. if that sounds too much like hard work for your heart - then go with Creighton's idea. Either way, just do it, and do it with the minimum of fuss.
Fleur de Lis Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 1. It's only stuff. 2. Next time, plan your breakup better and discreetly gather your stuff prior to severing the relationship.
