mortensorchid Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I have been seeing a pyschiatrist for many years now. I trust her, I am happy with her, and we have established a very trustworthy relationship. She is the one I tell my problems to, not my family or my friends because they will take it and use it against you. And, like everything else, I discuss my frustrations with the opposite sex and friends with her. She has made so many things clear to me when I did not see them before. I promote all that if you have a serious problem in your life and you keep asking yourself why it is that this keeps happening to you, therapy is a good thing for all of us. True, you have to find that one person who you have chemistry with (in a professional capacity), whether or not you decide to take prescriptions is another ballgame, but if you can't find the answer it is a good thing to at least attempt.
