When you don't have thoughts :)

As in you are no longer thinking about them or things you did or said, whatever.

Would it not be more not having feelings rather than thoughts?

When you think or confronted by it, it doesn't trigger an emotion.

Thoughts because of feelings....

Indifferent feelings = no thoughts :)

It was a play on the wording of the OP.

Oh, sorry, I'm slow.

Although, how can you test feelings without thoughts?

We could get caught in an infinite loop...

When you see them with another person, in an amorous clinch, and they're obviously totally besotted with one another, and you think "Meh.. good on them, very happy for them, but frankly, so what?"

Then you've reached a good level of indifference.

Indifference is when you can think of the person and have no strong feelings whatsoever about them.

I had a girl that I was really in love with about 4 years ago and things didn't work out and she wasn't into me anymore. I went through a small period of despair and then forgot about her afterwards. I still think about her on occasion and I've seen her around everywhere but it does not effect me either way. Sometimes when I'm alone I'll even check her out to see what she's been doing. I don't have any hate or love for her. It doesn't hurt when you see her with another guy or if she gets married.

She could pass away tommorow and I would be sad that it happened but honestly wouldn't be devastated about it. It would be like if a pet died, I'd be sad for a day or two then go get another one.
