So long as the ex's stuff is still in my apartment, he's not really "gone". He's in my dreams as well - twice this week-, but only as a character. The topic of the dreams are more of the adventure variety and less about the relationship ending or the relationship still existing. I'm pretty sure that will ease up in the next few weeks. Today's emotion is mild frustration. I just want to get on with my life. Hun, why don't you make plans this weekend with your friends and live it up(if you already hadn't). Have fun, meet new people and most importantly, dress to kill and garner the attention of a FEW new guys. Your confidence will skyrocket and you will feel a whole lot better. I am a guy, I broke it off with an ex as I wanted to have fun and live my life and guess what....a few months later I came crawling back to my ex when I noticed...wait for it..that she was having fun on her own. Unfortunately she kicked me to the curb but I tell you this as a guy...there is a chance that your ex will come crawling back to you. So in the interim, have fun and enjoy your little break. Find solace in the fact that he just may come back(and in my experience, prob will) and that you will hold the power base in the relationship. Link to post Share on other sites

I'm with my family now (5 hour drive away). Mission for next weekend: Meetup.com event followed by a birthday party I was invited to by some neighbor/friends I have been close to for the last six months. This first week after BU has been just... frustrating... since it was combined with a Blizzard that made going much of anywhere extremely difficult while I was also on call at work, so couldn't even go out for very long on my own.
