Jamesblame Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I've come across a bit of a quandary regarding how I should start looking at dating. It's been one year since I ended a long term, abusive relationship, and in that time I've been with 7 women, and on many more dates in that time. I'm clearly doing relatively well, except for the fact that I can't feel anything romantic for these girls. I just feel like I won't feel anything for anyone again. I want to love life again and feel romantic and butterflies for girls I dated when I was younger. Now I just date tons of girls at a time before finding one that matches and then slowly getting into a monogamous relationship. Healthy right? ...but also lacks the magic that romance used to have. So perspective on adult dating: How do I as a 29 year old single male feel romance again?
ls32ssibm Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Give it more time. I'm just beginning to feel like I could love again almost 2 years after the relationship ended. Tough ones really screw you up.
