Question about this girl I tried to date

Well ill try to trim this up as best as I can here goes.Met Jennifer I was say during my whole divorce dilemma my state of mind was no where near ready to jump into a rs .She starting show alot if interest at one point but I'm man enough to admit I'd send her off or flake out more times then not.Ill also admit my mood swings just wasnt healthy and we maintained a friendship but seemed that's it .I then tried again when my mind was somewhat cleared to open up but she was still hung up on her ex.So fast forward to today we have maintain a somewhat good friendship a year and half later .She called me to see if I'd like to hang out but I was caught up with work.After I stopped by her house and surprised her with a bear.She seemed so happy saying she hasn't gotten anything today and it meant alot .I asked what about your bf she said she was now single .Long story short she said she was in a confused point of her life and he never gave her even a second of his time.I then say well let's do lunch next week she said sounds good .Guess my question at this point can I even turn this into something or since a pretty good amount of time and different points of our lives I'm stuck as the friend ?

Nobody here can tell you. You'll just have to give it a shot. It sounds more promising than your recent OLD experiences. What's the plan for lunch? Taking her to the Outback? Just kidding

Nope I was thinking of Wendy's this time heh .eh guess ill give it a shot just figure we both tried and it didn't work thanks to me at the time.Im gonna go out this weekend put myself in positions to talk to girls .Doesnt hurt to practice lol
