I can't believe how much lying to yourselves people do

Right... alphas dont exist... guys like Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman are figments of my imagination.

These are just normal everyday regular guys ... not!. And the people that post that they have some "alpha" like traits that want to be beta.... right.

Give me a break. People can't accept that there might be someone that's more naturally successful in some aspect of everyday life. Everyone on this forum at least knows 1 alpha in real life and if you don't get off your butt, meet one, and go shake his hand and introduce yourself to him.

Maybe you will learn something besides the garbage that is spewed all over this forum.

There are alpha posters on this forum, most of you don't even listen to them, acknowledge them, or report them because you don't like seeing what they say.

Dude... Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman are just normal guys that happened to be good actors and lucky enough that someone discovered... I seriously doubt they are in their real life even the tiny shadow as what they are in their films... (fantasy... you get it?)...

There are indeed people who shine harder than the rest in today world... but it is often for hard work or amazing natural abilities rather than for a natural leadership...

Alphas, betas and omegas are natural roles of animals who react to the world threats with instincts... Alphas are more likely to procreate healthy and strong descendants and therefore they are the chosen ones for that role... (I know what I am talking about, I am a veterinarian). Trying to apply the same roles and hierarchies to the human world is not only very ignorant but also very disturbing... it says a lot about the confidence level of people who want to do that... Usually people who have problems getting a date just try to over analyse it... to find a magic logic to the world or a rule they can blame for their lack of success...

Well my friend... the truth is that when t comes to roles in human society the variables are much, much bigger!

GG2W nailed it, like fighter pilots who are considered ace after 5, after 5 carnal knowledge experiences you are no longer a beta

I wonder where they would class the race car drivers at Daytona, now that a woman will be leading them to the start of the race ?

I think the men here would be best to forget about this alpha stuff because, in the end, the alphas of the world are really being used by everybody.
Heh, not really. Desired by everybody, yes perhaps, so he might trade his stuff for quite a good price with lotsa people. He might chose to sacrifice himself at the service of the community out of generosity but he usually doesn't have to.

Sure, they may build a comfortable life for themselves but is it really worth it?
Hell yes it's worth it. Have you gone through poverty ? It's not fun. It doesn't only mean you're not gonna have a brand new shiny car every year, people won't pay you much respect in general.

It's time for men to relax a bit and stop worrying about being "the best." It's time for men to redefine themselves and find a new measure for their worth other than their "usefulness."
This would only work if every man in the world accepts a gentlemen's agreement of not competing at the expense of the others. What would happen is that some people would still disregard that agreement and take 80% of the cake for themselves, and then everybody else would forget about the agreement and do the same.

Alpha, Beta or Omega it's all a load of nonsense to me. I don't need labels to categorise myself. I am my own man with my own identity.

What you call Alphas, betas and omegas are pure individual characteristics... and one person can be a natural leader in his work but being and introvert guy who would not be able to get a date...

We all can be leaders or followers depending the given situation... we all have a natural inclination about being dominant or sub-dominant, extrovert or introvert... you can put that in a X-Y graphic to read your natural inclination... but the nice thing about being humans is that we can change our natural inclination, we can decide the role we want to play in society and work towards it ( via therapy, via studying hard and working hard to get a high executive role, via investing in your own company and making it successful..., etc..). You are only a beta or an omega if you accept that role...

I never said this is rigid and you can't change. Of course you can change your personality, and no one is 100% in either category. Also I never said being a leader guarantees dates, hell sometimes being a leader actually can get you killed.

But let's be real most people on the planet are followers, and some are leaders. Alpha, Beta, and Omega mostly describe your natural tendencies, leaders generally have certain personality characteristics that make them leaders, followers have certain personality traits that make them followers, and some people are unsuited for both.

Being a leader doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a general, president, CEO, etc. you can be a blue collar worker and still be Alpha, and being a follower doesn't mean you'll be stuck in a position where you get led around by others for the rest of your life. You can be a natural follower and still end up in leadership positions. And if you're a natural leader you still have to follow others, you can be a natural charismatic Lieutenant in the military but you still take orders from the guys above you.

You use the terms Alpha, beta and omega without knowing the full meaning of those words ... you in your need of grouping people just made up a poor criteria logic where you fit the qualities you think should be assigned to one of this groups and called them Alpha, beta and omega...

Alphas don't follow orders... they would kill another animal who would pretend to force them to do something they don't want to do... Alphas use intimidation to establish and maintain alpha position..

Betas... this are the potential alphas and second in command in the group... betas will become alphas when the alpha dies or is too old to defend his position.

A beta can also separate from the group to create his own pack.

Omega is not the loner wolf like many of you here pretend to say.... omegas are the lower scale of males in a pack, they are the last ones to eat and they are submissive by nature.

This are very restrictive definitions and non of them are applicable to humans as we can behave like each of the above roles depending of the situation and with whom you are interacting.

Your necessity of grouping people in groups is what makes you fail in dating too... you over analyze something that is really very difficult to analyze as human beings have very different aspect to their behaviors.... not only the behaviors are different depending the situation but also they can change from one moment of time to another as we are constantly learning and developing our own character... Einstein could not speak till he was 4 years old... in the high school the teachers told his parents that he would never get anywhere... well.... you can see how things can change right?

Michael Jordan was cut off from his high school basketball team...

Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper because "lacking imagination and having no original ideas"

The Beatles were rejected by Decca recording studios, who said "we don't like their sound - they have no future in show business"....

Do you see how things and people can evolve? How people need to keep working and learn from failure to succeed?

I have never understood why people label alphas as being selfish and women users and betas are nice guys looking for relationships.

Ive dated both betas and alphas, and many of them were selfish, strung me along pretending to want something real, entitled attitudes. Betas show it differently and I find the biggest difference is it takes much longer to find out. Betas can def be commitment phobic too ya know...

This is why I dont like these 2 terms
