brookebb Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 class started 2 weeks ago at my college and i got to class early so i can get the seat i wanted. the class has 200 students so it is very large. i sat in the 2nd row. there were only around 30 other students in the class at the moment, because it didnt start for another 15 minutes. the 30 or so students are all scattered. no one is really sitting next to each other yet. this guy comes in the class and sits right next to me.. literally the seat right next to me.. even though im the only person in my row. it takes him a while to start a conversation but he does. ever since then, he has been sitting next to me. we talk.. i cant tell if we are flirting though. i did not know him before this class by the way and he didnt know me because i am a transfer student. he seems nice. today he asked me if i would want to grab a bite to eat outside of class one time. i said yes so we exchanged numbers. i dont mean to be cocky but i am really pretty, and he's ok looking. why did it only take 2 week for him to ask me to hang out? shouldn't he be more nervous, and therefore take more time? is the only reason why he sat next to me the first day because im pretty? i do not dress in revealing clothes. i am the prim and proper type. i dont come off as slutty at all. another thing, i feel like he gets boners in class. i kind of notice it in his jeans. is this why he never walks out of class with me, so i wont see it when he stands up? i never looked at that area on purpose by the way. so do you think he is using me for sex, or he actually likes me?
SJC2008 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It's hard to say he's using you if yall have't been dating long. Two weeks isn't long before asking a classmate out IMO. Besides, "waiting" too long is a sure fire way to the friend zone, at last that's what college aged men are told. It sounds like you're not into him given your don't find him attractive. It's not against the law to not be attracted to someone so why are you apologizing?
