Miko Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I had a relationship with this amazing girl secretively due to her families view on our age difference 18/28. Please easy on me with the age thing, I know, but we had a great relationship and such natural interactions I've written that off as an issue to be dealt with as needed. We originally decided that we would just hang out when we can until she moved out of there and our relationship was well-rooted enough to be worth upsetting a bunch of people. Well, one day one of her brothers noticed her being pretty affectionate with me and he started people talking about it. That started to be an issue so we decided to just cool it on the seeing each other until she moved out because she didn't want to have any problems since she was dealing with a lot already. I think she was just frustrated and exhausted with having a halfway relationship. THEN, one night a month later, I got really drunk with her sister and confessed my love and said a bunch of things I probably shouldn't have. Giant family drama ensued and they demanded I stop talking to her which I did for her sake. So it's been a year or so and she friend requested me on FB twice recently, which I didn't accept because I had a girlfriend who also knew about our previous relationship. Anyway, I did hurt her and do something stupid back then, and she was quite pissed, but I've had 2 GF's since then and no matter what I always just think about her! It's not even fair to girls I date because I can't really commit to them because my heart is honestly already taken, plus I have a feeling she still wants to try again. So I want to get ahold of her because she was a great friend and we had generally an awesome relationship. I'm sorry I hurt her but I don't think a big gushing apology is going to get me anywhere. I think for her short and sweet would be better but I don't know where to start. Maybe I'm over thinking it but any direction would be AWESOME! Thanks!!!
