charlietheginger Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Well you guys know after my wife cheated on me and left Me for another man we split up. The last week we were Together she called me a big fat ugly slob. Over our 10 Yr marriage i gained weight about 3yrs ago i developed Celiac disease . my face and belly swelled arthritis in my Hands and rash like acne. I discovered i had a gluten allergy . I cut out all gluten Lost 40lbs the acne on my face and back went away. Took about a yr to get clear skin and healthy. 6months ago women started noticing me talking to Me. I was shy quite and still hurt from my marriage Ending. I ran into my exwife she told me how great i look And her eyes bugged out of her head. She tried talking Bumping into me. I had one date she apologizes and tells Me she misses me . I told her im not interested anything More then friends. That was the nail in the casket final closure for me. Hurt from our breakup emotionally and financially took Me yr to recover . I wanted nothing to do with women I went out with a few women that approached me. The Entire time on the date i thought look how shallow these Women are if i was 40lbs bigger i wouldnt be here. Didn't Have sex with them. two months ago i met my girlfriend. She knows i have self Esteem and trust issues. We have taken it slow Dinner , running in the park, working out together. Kissing making out oral sex giving and receiving. I give her back massages and foot massage plus Cuddle in bed to replace intercourse with affection To show im attracted. She tells me when im comfortable We will go all the way. Valentines day i think we will go all the way. When she is on top looking down into my eyes im gonna tell her i love her. 8
Cutiepie1976 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 So happy you found someone compatible who could give you a chance at happiness CTG! From your threads, you've always seemed like a great guy--beautiful on the inside, and from the avatar you once had, beautiful on the outside too. Must have been very tough to recover from the nasty breakup of your marriage. It's always darkest just before dawn. Welcome to a new day! 1
Eternal Sunshine Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Charlie, congrats on being a fighter. Your story is really inspiring. Many people in your position would just let life beat them. Wish you a lot of happiness in your new relationship 1
candie13 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I forgot how not having sex can bring you so much closer to a person . You are a strong man and the fact that you picked yourself up and started to get your life back together, that's what attracts women, not just your 40lb minus. Kudos for you for closing a door firmly behind you, can't have been that easy. all the best to you and your gf and enjoy St.V ! 1
startinganew777 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Good for you! That has to feel good and be very exciting at the same time! I just figured out this week that I think I have Celiac. I am not really overweight persay, I am 5 "10 and 150 but have gained 30 pounds in 8 years, developed some kind of rheumatoid arthritis, I get perioral dermatitis, a rash on my face and have horrible fatigue and absolutely no energy. It has given me a really low self esteem. This past week I cut out all gluten and feel great! My rash on my face went away, my arthritis is pretty non existant and I have more energy than I have ever had! I used to feel like I was going to puke when I woke up in the morning. Every single morning. Yesterday morning was the first time I felt great when I got out of bed! Maybe this will help my self esteem and I will have better luck out there dating! I do OLD because I just didn't have the confidence to meet people out in public. I know this post wasn't about Celiac but it is nice to talk to someone that deals with it as well. Not sure I have it but the dramatic improvement is all I need to know to stay away from gluten. Good luck tomorrow

Drseussgrrl Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 By the way I don't think I'm allergic to gluten but I have cut it out of my diet and ALSO feel amazing. So much more energy and my skin is glowing! 1
