Just ran into the ex for the first time since NC...

It happened about 2 hours ago on my way to class. I was with another girl (just a friend) chatting it up and while I was in mid-speech she cuts me off out of nowhere and says "wow that was incredibly awkward."

 

I asked her what was awkward... She said "your ex just walked right past us and gave us an ugly look." I couldn't believe it. I honestly didn't even notice her.

 

It's nice she finally saw that I'm doing A-OK without her. I guess it must have added some salt in the wound since I was with another chick. I can't help but feel a little empowered now since I was the one who initiated NC after she wanted to "just be friends."

 

Looks like the power has shifted back into my hands and I intend to keep it here. Part of me feels a little sad that I possibly hurt her though. I do still care about her.

But yes at first I felt a little upset about it but now I feel much better and I'm glad it happened. I'm gonna make her regret the day she decided to move on so quickly.

I saw my ex the other day and she was with this douchebag she is dating, both smirking at me. I had to go down the first alley on the right before crossing them. It felt bad.
