ziggue Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 There is this guy that I used to hang out with down in Sydney. Live on the Central Coast. About an hour and a half away. Guess you could say we had a friends with benefits type of relationship. It finished after I met this really great guy who I have been going out with for 6 months now. . Things are serious in this new relationship and things are going really great. Want things to work out with this guy. Hopefully it lasts. . I told this guy that it was over with him but he still rings up every couple of months. Drunk. Telling me to come up and visit him. It gets real annoying. Most the time I hang up or have to remind up I have a Boyfriend. My Boyfriend was there last night when I got a phone call at around 2am. We both ended up laughing about it because he could hear everything that the guy could say. Plus he sounded so drunk. That his words were slurry. Ended up turning the phone off in the end. Till later on in the morning anyway. Needed the sleep. Maybe I should get my Boyfriend to answer the phone. Next time the guys from Sydney rings up. It's usually like 1am, 2am in the morning. My Boyfriend knows about the situation. Luckily the phone calls don't bother him. Our relationship is pretty rock solid and we are always honest with eachother. . Any ideas on what to say to the Sydney Guy to make him stop calling. Especially so early in the morning! What about getting my Boyfriend to answer?
chicasha Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 That way....it'll prove to the other guy you do have a boyfriend, and hopefully he'll stop calling. Why does he call so much, when it was just a 'friends with benefits' kind of relationship? It seems kind of strange. Maybe you thought it was nothing, but he on the other hand thought it more serious than that...? Either way.....you've moved on now, and he has to leave you alone. Get ur boyfriend to pick up the phone, and if the other guy still doesn't stop calling....then change ur phone-number!!
