NotCamelot Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 You are setting a terrible example by staying with a man who disrespects you and screws around on you. This is a terrible example and will mess with their heads and besides one is a young adult and the other is a teen who will soon be an adult. I've got to wonder why they would want their mother to stay with a man who treats her like that? I agree with this to some extent. Just Saturday, my 18 yr old daughter looked at me and said, "Daddy, I don't see how you can stay with her after what she did." That hurt. Now, I don't know your age, but at 52, I decided that because I love her so strongly, I would find a way to fix things if she was wanting to do the same. Bottom line, I think your kids, at thier age, should know. And it will surprise you at how aware they are. They probably already know more than you think. Years later, you will be glad you told them.
