21heartless Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 well said mate. true test on valentine's and around. will be quite hard not to go over and make a fool of yourself, which i initially planned to and have backed up or now. The thing is I booked tickets and stuff, money down the drain i would say. would have bought me a nice pair of shoes or a nintendo DS! Man I know, I'm just happy I didn't get her the puppy I planned on buying. All the little gifts can be returned a few days after vday if she still hasn't contacted me. But I am thinking about sending her flowers and strawberries to her job I do still love her. And want her back. I won't text her still until she says thank you or something but if she doesn't thank me or show any kind of gratitude. Ill know this breakup is serious and ill NEED to cont. moving on. I might just start a thread see if the ladies think its a good idea to send flowers to a recent ex.

Allumere Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I know her so well. She wouldnt do this. Infact....I 100% have faith it isnt that I have learned the hard way, you never really know someone. I can only tell you from personal experience as I have heard that exact same speech and from the experiences of friends when those words were spoken in every single instance there was someone that had caught their ex's attention. That doesn't mean they have cheated or gone on a date necessarily but the new person has entered their mind and because they are curious they begin to doubt the extent of their feelings for you.
