quite.foolish Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 So, today is the third day on the new job.. Bare in mind I'm twenty miles from home. Day1- I walk out feeling pretty good about getting the job, who do I see driving past? Yep, ex-friend. 20miles from home. Perfect timing. Day2- I got up yesterday morning, smoked a little cigarette out my bedroom window, who do I see driving past? Yep, ex-friend. At stupid early o'clock. Perfect timing. Day3 (today)- Heading home, jumped off the bus and start walking down the road and guess who I see driving past.. You guessed right! ex-friend. wtf? wtf? wtf? I facebooked her sister last night. She didn't reply.. I'm probably getting in more sht. I emailed ex-friend last night. She didn't reply.. I'm probably getting in more sht. I emailed ex-friend after I saw her again tonight.. Yep, I'm likely getting in more sht and losing this job. Oh well.. Bare in mind, I haven't spoken to her since October. I emailed her on two occasions to apologise, but I haven't laid eyes on her face since ChristmasDay. Three days in the new job which was pretty hard going to get, and three days in a row I've seen her. Great.. Feel like going to knock her door again.

candie13 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 You're sharing the same neighborhood, it's a probable coincidence. The only thing the Universe tells you is: focus in your job! New job, new beginning, go NC now!! so, you saw her 3 times? here are the signs: - 1. new job - 2. new attitude / beginning: start NC with her & all her fam & friends - 3. new woman in your life. start dating other girls, it will happen this week!!
Author quite.foolish Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Really hope I don't get in anymore trouble now.. fk. Quite obviously I drove her away and she'll never be back. Need to get her out my head, bad.
LeliiMarie612 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I know how difficult it is, considering I see both my exes almost every day. The best thing you can do is ignore her. Even if you see her, that doesn't mean that you should contact her. If she doesn't respond or say anything when she sees you, that means she doesn't want to say anything. You got a lot of new things in your life, so the best thing to do to keep out of trouble, as you say, is keep moving foward. You didn't drive her away, she just wants to move along most likely, and you should do the same.
Hopeful79 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 It's interesting, here I am terrified I'll be moving to Florida soon and my ex is planning to move to Seattle - which means we won't be seeing each other again most likely! Yes, I still want him, but also I agree we are not good together. It's more me missing him! Reading your post I am seeing how it would be so difficult to keep running into someone you love, miss and want - and yet can't have! I agree, don't contact her sister, and definitely don't email her or go knocking at her door! She hasn't responded to your email - don't lower yourself to keep on chasing after someone who doesn't want you! I know it's hard...it SUCKS...but live your life for you...meet new people, ask other girls out on dates... AND keep this job you worked hard to get! Don't let her see you struggling, let her see you strong, confident, happy and successful. As many people say, if it's meant to be it will be! But it will never be if you keep chasing after her - that cries out desperation and is not attractive to a female at all.
geegirl Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Really hope I don't get in anymore trouble now.. fk. Quite obviously I drove her away and she'll never be back. Need to get her out my head, bad. You're supposed to be focusing on yourself. After all that has happened, please don't jeopardize your life again for this. Remember when you emailed her, how afraid you were of the police knocking on your door and wished you had not emailed her. Go back and read those threads. You are getting in your own way, QF. Emailing her was one thing, now you are emailing her friends and family. If she knows this, it doesn't shed good light on you. It only gives her another reason to keep staying away from you.
