Mosey Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Two years ago Christine and I met at the office. Right away there were sparks but I was in a relationship. I ended the relationship a month later to persue her. We went out for coffee a few times but she met someone who "she had a crush on" and dated him for 14 months on and off. She and I talked off and on during that time. She would tell me she wasn't happy but she wouldn't end it. She said he was a "party boy" and he didn't want a relationship so she ended it for good this past March. I asked her out on May 17 and we dated for 3 months. It was great. She gave me nothing but positive feedback. I was to meet her daughter and family on a trip to Boston in September. We were also planning events that we were to attend together in the near future. I did everything (even the little things) right with out really trying because I liked her so much. Her friends really like me and my friends really like her. On our first date she told me that she dropped me the first time because I had a reputation as a player. I did date about 4 women over 9 years that worked with us which is why she thought was she did. He started calling her in July and put the full court press on and she finally broke up with me two weeks ago. She almost broke up with me in late July because of it but her mother, best friend, and myself talked her out of it. He is promising her the world. I'm in love with her and told her that in late July at 3 in the morning after a great 3 hour conversation. She didn't say it back but she gave me a great smile and said I know because of the way you look at me. I can't eat, sleep, and can barely do my job. I know it was only three months but I never felt like this before and felt something back from her as well. I'm a 38 year old CPA and she 35 and is working full time and in grad school with a 8 year old daughter. I fought hard but calmly for two weeks to get her back but she wouldn’t come back. I’ve started the no contact approach but it is killing me. What can I do to get her back?
