I've never known anyone personally who paid child support, but on tv there was a man being required by law to pay at least 60% of the total financial support for the child while the mother took a lower paying, easier job to be with her bf. None of that was right or fair. After all of this she would flip out regularly with an over entitled attitude regarding anything.

That's a really...uncouth thing to talk about with someone you are just getting to know. Why is it necessary to divulge that info a near stranger?
