I'm new here. Hello all! I am in a very strange predicament. I am in love with my co-worker, who happens to be a doctor and is 26 years older. We travel for work. We have worked together for over a year. I think we have gotten close over that time. My issue is he treats me different than everyone else..He tells me it's because I'm special. He does know how I feel about him. He tells me I have expectations and that he doesn't want to lead me on or give me mixed signals, but that's what he does...ALL THE TIME! He will tell me I'm a pheromone and then try to figure out how many guys I've been with. He tells me I'm a dangerous woman in a soft seductive voice. Tells me I look good with a cigar in my mouth. He is always touching me and trying to make me laugh. He gets upset with me if I even mention helping another doctor for the day. When we go for dinner, while on the road, we always share our meals, even dessert. We always have a great time. I've even met his son who he told me I couldn't meet cuz the next women he meets would be special. He always wants to know everything going on in my life. Here's the thing...he is always trying to impress the other girls, buying them dinner, getting them little gift, but not me...he just doesn't do that with me. He's never told me I'm pretty or cute. When things go wrong it's me that gets blamed...He will yell at me and I just take it and try to fix the situation. I am so confused...If he calls or texts me, I had better respond, but it's not the same when I call or text. I have asked him to dinner when we aren't traveling but he always say "Can't Happen". Anybody have any idea what he wants from me? My heart is broken....

Divorced

?

Too much baggage, too ingrained and set in his ways.

He's treating you like a daughter.

Honey, please trust me - you need to run.

i really think you really really want to see what you want to see\

and not the truth or reality.

he is shore not single or available for any kind of relationship. he even use his son to

play his stupid games.

i dont know about you but are you that sad that you want some men to tell you you are cute?

personalyy i hate that word coming out of the mouth of whatever dude.

only my partner can tell me some of those words.

you have low self esteem and he see that.

so he treat you whatever way. cause you keep coming back for more and takes it all.

start behaving like someone that have her own opinion and do things your way ,buy your own food stop being open to be use. dont let him touch you.etc

you see its not good to date coworkers and a guy treat you bad, stop being open for his behavior.desperate

Thank You for replying! I do appreciate you blunt honesty. I guess It's not that I want him to call me cute, (Of course it's nice to hear you're attractive) but I was giving an example of the thing he does to the other girls. Yes, i admit I probably see what I want to see. I do stand up for myself, I have my own opinions and he is well aware of this. I do enjoy his company. I just wanted to get other people's opinions. I do care for him and don't want to be played for a fool, which is what I have been, I guess.. Thanx again.
