veggirl Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I guess we will Facetime. I move there one week from Vday!! :bunny: so maybe he can watch me pack? 3
xpaperxcutx Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 He's working that day so I made dinner reservations at a Greek steakhouse for that Saturday the both of us. I know he loves to eat meat so I'm making sure the dinner we're having is special. 1
tman666 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 We're going to be visiting her dad and stepmom in FL over Valentines day. So while I'm sure some beach time, drinks, and decent food will probably be in the cards, making sexy-time is going to be slightly trickier. But... When there's a will, there's a way! 1
cerridwen Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Worried they wouldn't get there in time, I mailed off some Valentine's Day gifts early. He received them on the 4th. By the 5th, all the candy was eaten. Oh, well. He can re-read the card on Valentine's Day. 6
BehindBlueEyes Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Spending time together at home? Going out? Not doing anything because you think it's a big farce? Share! I'm going to put on a set of wings, carry a bow and arrow, wear a diaper and prance around at the bowling alley. 3
candie13 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I guess we will Facetime. I move there one week from Vday!! :bunny: so maybe he can watch me pack? sounds like the best post StV celebration time ever, so far! Congrats, all the best... and good luck packing! 1
Krytie TV Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I'm married with kids. That is what my VD plans are. Isn't that enough??? 4
candie13 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Do you know when I really really got jealous of a married woman? I'll tell you: I locked myself out, last week - took the wrong keys with me, anyway. Was waiting for the locksmith in front of my block when my neighbor and her little girl see me outside. We exchange hello, she sees that I'm pissed and asks if I'm ok. I explain, and guess what! She actually tells me: "oh my god, you shouldn't stay outside! Go inside and stay at my place, you can have a cup of coffee with my husband!". For real! She's ok, but her husband... is hot! I mean HoT! Like ... is she out of her mind? Did she look at me? Really? did she look at her husband? How wrong can that be and on how many levels? The woman was serene! Zen!! I said a quick "no, thank you, the locksmith should be here any minute now", said goodbye to the little girl and that was it. So no, I do not pity you, Krytie TV, with your beautiful kids and you hot husband, I am sure !!! 1
tbf Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 We're going away for a few days to Whistler/Blackcomb for a short romantic get-away from the boys. Valentine's Day is special for us since that's when he proposed! 3
Citizen Erased Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Glee and Grey's Anatomy are on that night. 4
Pyro Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men are on that night. 5
Author Els Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Big Bang Theory! Now there's an idea... I don't think it'd be appropriate for me to be drooling over Sheldon with the bf next to me on VDay, though. Naturally it'd be acceptable most other days.
Emilia Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I plan on photo copying pics of people from the past who were toxic, terrible friends, lover, etc., and pasting them up on a wall, and playing an energy fueled fun game of darts:) You've made 'Loveshack Quote of the Week' in the Water Cooler section
Leigh 87 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 We refrain from, erm.... having an orgasm for a week before valentines day! LOL! ...we both strongly feel the difference when we leave longer times between orgasms... after a week it builds up and the sex feels better, than if we say, have it every two days. ...orgasms aside: we like to not plan, but to just.... arrange something cool and fun to do on the day. Prob see a movie and eat out, and then have sex. Nothing too ground breaking. ...That is if he is home valentines:( He has been on a charity bike ride accross the country, camping most of the time, with his dad. ......He will prob get back a little after the 14th... What's worse, is that I have a leg infection, and cannot walk; I sure miss having him to carry/help me
candie13 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men are on that night. *putting an option on Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men, after Bridget Jones Diary and porn* 2
spooky48 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I don't "celebrate" the "holiday" per se but, I do enjoy the nice treats & attractive flowers that are at stores. Since I have not had a Valentine since 2004, every year since then, I've bought myself one of these nice things. I don't care how corny or sad it sounds or looks. Things are cute and if I like something & can afford it, I am doing it. Being unloved for this LONG, I've really grown accustomed to it. I've just sworn off the whole entirety of everything b/c, I've tried numerous options for YEARS & bottom-line, love is just NOT meant in the cards for me. This includes the possibility of marriage, partnership, kids, extended family & simply just being loved/adored/cared-for by a terrific man. I mean, if you were all in my shoes, you'd understand possibly how completely tired I am of trying so many options yet, failure always procedes me from them. I have just surrendered it all off. I'm just done... However, I do wish every single one of you a great V-day filled with love, romance, passion, sensuality, sensitivity & kindness. I think it's totally cool how someone can "find" that person & how that person wants/loves you unconditionally back. I am in AWE on how my parents too, are going to be married over 45 years this year!! To me, this believes in the idea of love yet, it is not meant for all (myself specifically). Have a great time! 1
sweetkiwi Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 What am I doing this valentines day? Avoiding happy couples and probably getting drunk alone. 2
tman666 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 a new religion just popped up. its the eating tv religion. every week adherents must eat a piece of a tv. if you can't do the tv eating thing, if you truly believe that eating tvs is a good idea, you're off the hook. if you do so its a path to eternal happiness. if you don't you will burn forever. the founder of the religion is offering salvation to all. are you in m30usa? Whoa. I think I'm in. 1
Anela Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 What am I doing this valentines day? Avoiding happy couples and probably getting drunk alone. Ugh. Last year and the year before, the bookstore was *full* of happy couples, having a date night, I guess. I just took a stack of books and some hot chocolate, and sat on the floor somewhere. They weren't just sitting either, they were walking around, hands on backs, in each others' hands or touching them in some way. I guess I'll avoid the bookstore this year. 1
Treasa Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Valentines day is my cats birthday. He will get non-diet cat food all day I think this wins for best plans I've heard so far.
ThaWholigan Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I'm going to make some beautiful orgasmic music on V-Day this year 5
ptp Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I'm going to make some beautiful orgasmic music on V-Day this year I have to admit, I don't know much about music. Is that just recording yourself masturbating? 5
sweetkiwi Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Maybe I will give some lucky guy a squirtin good time Lolllz
ThaWholigan Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I have to admit, I don't know much about music. Is that just recording yourself masturbating? Could be - might run it through a vocoder and synth some chords to is 1
