Els Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Spending time together at home? Going out? Not doing anything because you think it's a big farce? Share!
BetheButterfly Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Spending time together at home? Going out? Not doing anything because you think it's a big farce? Share! My hubby and I are going to the Valentine's Day Dance at our church the day after Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day if the weather is nice, we plan on going to the beach and after showering and making love, I plan on making him a nice yummy healthy meal of fish and salad! He isn't going to buy me candy or any surprise.... I am going to see though if there are beautiful tulips in a grocery store and cajole him into buying them for me lol As for him, his idea of gifts from me to him include me working out me eating healthy me spending time with him Massages He's never been interested in me buying him a watch or a tie or surprise present or a joke present, or anything like that. In 2 days it is our 2 year anniversary, from when we talked to each other for the first time!!! 3
Author Els Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 That's really sweet, BtB! For the past 2 years that we spent together we did the typical nice dinner out + extra steamy sex after, but some financial issues cropped up recently so we might be doing a home version instead this time. Call me corny, but I do want us to do SOMEthing special, out of the norm. It doesn't have to be expensive to be special, though! 1

Isn't that weird? It just depends on the company, and when 2 people love each other, they can have lots of fun without spending lots of money! 2
Brit Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I plan on photo copying pics of people from the past who were toxic, terrible friends, lover, etc., and pasting them up on a wall, and playing an energy fueled fun game of darts:) 11

candie13 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 we don't talk about Valentine's Day. I've made previous plans for the weekend and am going with my friends to the mountains from Friday to Sunday... but Thursday.... I fear Thursday....
Eclypse Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I'm not sure at this stage. I'll be 2 days out from wisdom teeth surgery so I expect I won't be feeling up for any radical adventures. Maybe she'll come over and we'll cuddle and have sex or something. Might go out for dinner the following weekend. I have been specifically instructed not to waste my money on gifts or flowers! A good idea actually, considering current finances.

Yeah, definitely best to cut down on the radical adventures if you're recovering from surgery!

SmileFace Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 My bestfriend rented a hotel and she planned to get wasted in her hotel alone so she invited us along. Good times .. haha
candie13 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 If I'm not getting flowers, I'm copying your idea! Maybe Bridget Jones instead of porn... maybe both!
Sun Devil Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Try to get a date. If not, then hire escorts to spend the night with. 2
Author Els Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Interesting responses so far. I love Brit's.
candie13 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 out of pure curiosity, a question for the guys: do you expect your gf to offer you a gift for St Valentine's? Such as what - sexual treats out, I can figure this much out, thanks ! 1

candie13 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 don't mean to be too graphic here, as it's an open forum... but that would be... sort of... old news ! more... inspiring ideas (non sexual preferred!)
Anela Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Spending time together at home? Going out? Not doing anything because you think it's a big farce? Share! Hunting down Cupid, and snapping the poisonous arrows in his stash. Maybe save one to shoot him with so that he gets a taste of his own medicine. 4
Anela Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 And on a less bitter note: I might do a few tarot readings for people, elsewhere, for practice. 1
SpiralOut Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I'm doing nothing because I'm alone and bitter.
