Bad behaviour? Throwing Hoops?

I recently read TrustStory's "On Dominance" guide and there was two thing I didn't understand.

The first one was "rewarding her bad behavior". What does this imply? That I ignore rude comments she makes? Or she tries to shame me in front of others and I let it slip? I don't quite understand this. Can you guys/girls give me some example regarding this?

The second one was "Don't jump when she throws a HOOP". I do understand the term what this mean, but once again I don't understand what is it implying. For example, if she asks me something and I do it without thinking too much? Or does it mean I shouldn't accept whatever she says?

Thank you very much for the answers in advance!

"Jumping through hoops" means that he or she will ask you to do a number of things for them before they give you what you want. It's a way to delay giving you what you want.

What the guy above me said.

I just want to add that hoops are not things that are needed for a healthy relationship.

Yep. It's generally considered a form of manipulation.
