Hyouri Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I recently read TrustStory's "On Dominance" guide and there was two thing I didn't understand. The first one was "rewarding her bad behavior". What does this imply? That I ignore rude comments she makes? Or she tries to shame me in front of others and I let it slip? I don't quite understand this. Can you guys/girls give me some example regarding this? The second one was "Don't jump when she throws a HOOP". I do understand the term what this mean, but once again I don't understand what is it implying. For example, if she asks me something and I do it without thinking too much? Or does it mean I shouldn't accept whatever she says? Thank you very much for the answers in advance!
TheGuard13 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 "Jumping through hoops" means that he or she will ask you to do a number of things for them before they give you what you want. It's a way to delay giving you what you want.
pbjbear Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 What the guy above me said. I just want to add that hoops are not things that are needed for a healthy relationship.
TheGuard13 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Yep. It's generally considered a form of manipulation.
