Ive made a similar thread in the past I think, but I thought to spark the convo again.

This thread is more so for North American women.

In America, if a guy wears anything other than boardshorts at the beach, people may give weird looks, or assume hes gay. Meanwhile, most other places in the world, a guy can wear brief style or boxer brief style trunks without issue. Hell, Id say those are the norm everywhere else in the world.

Anyways, Ive been doing well with my routine in the gym. And because Im making progress, I want to dress like Ive made progress this summer. If my legs get to the size and definition Im looking for (think Ronaldo or Drogba soccer legs), then I might take a chance with boxer brief styled trunks.

If a guy has the body for it, would you think he was gay for wearing that type of beachwear? Would you think hes conceited? Personally I dont get why all of a sudden in the 90s, American male fashion made men cover up more, and women wear way less. I look at swimwear in past decades and guys word the kind of stuff Im talking about. Hell, tennis and basketball players wore super short shorts before the 90s.

Also ladies...would you be concerned if your man wanted to wear this swimwear? Im sure there are some chicks out there who are that concerned with what other people think, and wouldnt want to be seen with a guy dressed like that. Hell, Ive dated a girl like that before. She constantly tried to make suggestions for me to wear baggy clothes even though I have a relaxed, fitted style.

Anyways, just wanted to get some convo going. Im gonna wear what I want regardless and let the haters hate, but I thought itd be interesting to see what people thought. Im sure the North American responses will be much different from the European, Asian or Latin American responses.
