Interesting story.

When I went to the night clubs back in early 2011, I saw this guy just standing next to the wall and I asked him if he wanted to dance. Well, was a little awkward for both of us (since I was kind of new to the whole night club thing) and so I danced for a little and then moved on. For some reason though, he name and his image stuck with until this day.

The other night I was going through Twitter and I stumbled upon his profile. Soon enough, we started to follow each other and then eventually got into direct messaging a bit. The first he says to me is "I think I've met you before"... Now, from personal experience, I talked to a few guys at that club when I was there and I can't remember a face for crap. Why is this different?

He told me he's single ... and he seems alright. He's one of those good looking guys that should have a partner but you're surprised to learn that they have nobody and they're more introverted than expected. So anyways my question ... How do you remember someone from 2 years ago and would setting up a date be awkward?

I remember people all the time. It's not uncommon unless you suffer amnesia lol...dont get excited thinking it's destiny or anything (not yet anyway) :) initiate a meeting...you've got nothin to lose here.

So everything seems good. I feel like I talk way too much about myself ... like I share stories of years gone by when I was in middle school. Half the time, I don't even think he knows what I'm talking about lmao.

Might be nerves, might be just me feeling the past... whatever is it, I feel stupid.

UPDATE:

It looks like this is over...

What's weird is that I felt exactly what he felt. There was an interest for a while and then it completely died. Our conversations would have a starting point and just faded off. It's not I'd contact him every day either... usually mid week and then a little more during the weekend.

I'd reply on some of his posts and usually engage in discussion, yet now when I reply to him, it's nothing. Gah, such an awful feeling to feel, but why did this happen?
