toupe Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Alright, so let me start off by saying that I'm new to the forums, so if I'm doing something wrong, tell me and I'll be glad to do my best to correct it. Now, on with the drama. I work for the local Community Theatre. We are currently working on a musical production. The cast is great and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to work with them. One of the actors though, is often referred to as the "hot-twin." I don't mind it, and I'll admit he's attractive. Now, there is a girl on "crew". (Meaning she's not an actress, but she works on the set and stuff) Over time, I've kinda developed feelings for her and started flirting. She started flirting back, so I figured the feelings were mutual. Yesterday, however, she mentioned how she wanted the hot-twin to ask her to prom since hey went to the same school. No biggy for me, but when the cast went out for dinner after a performance, I'm pretty sure she had someone wingman for her. So here is my overall concern. I want to go out with this girl, and I'm ready to ask her on a date and such, but do you all think that this hot-twin will get in the way? I don't want anything to be awkward, but at the same time, I don't want to miss any chances to be with this girl.
TaraMaiden Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 You ask her 2 questions... "So.... how hot do you think this 'hot twin' really is? Are you keen on him?" (She answers, maybe a bit vaguely, slightly abashed.....) "Right....okay..... so what does that do to my chances if I were to ask you out on a date....?" And see what happens. Hey, nothing ventured.....
Author toupe Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Thanks. I guess it's all worth a shot
