<h2>So everyone knows how difficult it is to hold a decent conversation at the club because of the music being to loud at times, right?

So what if there was a way for you to create a personalized card with your name, picture, phone number and a simple message expressing your interest in someone, gave it to them and told them to call you after the club let out. Would you do it? Why or Why not? What do you think?

I wouldn't do it. Because it would look desperate and the chances a girl would call the number is about 0.001%.

On the flip side... if a girl handed me a card like that I would think she was a prostitute. It reminds me of the flyers they hand out on the strip in Vegas.

Maybe if I was a plastic surgeon or a Wall Street tycoon

I have a friend who's a plastic surgeon who actually does that and it works. He's so cocky

Quite a number of people do hand out their business card as a an easy way of swapping or leaving contact details. The more high profile position they hold the more inclined they are to do this. They usually do it at the end of the conversation. Is your friend handing out the card at the start of the conversation...'Hello, let me introduce myself' style?

Is there an element of touting for business or is it strictly to impress the ladies that he has a prestigious career & makes great money?

I would seriously consider how that opens a whirl-wind of trouble regarding strangers having your contact info... strangers who may want nothing to do with you but **** with you.

The latter.

He'll go up to them, drop some compliment on them (a backhanded one, in that it's often an insult masked as a compliment), and then follow his comment by saying "and I would know, I'm a ****en plastic surgeon". He gives them his card pretty soon thereafter and tells them to call him and just walks away. And they eat up every word.
