What makes a girl, girlfriend material to a guy?

I am a bit rusty on the dating side of things and I am just wondering what makes a girl girlfriend material to a guy?

 

What keeps him interested? What makes the chemistry not fizzle out and keeps him wanting more instead of getting bored of you and then wanting to leave after only a few months of going out when you thought things were going well? Even when you are doing "all the right things" so to speak.

 

Just curious to get some opinions on this here. .

Hi, welcome to the forum.

 

1. Their idea of beauty. every man seems to have this image of the woman of his dreams. luckily every man has different idea so you will be some guys dream woman.

 

2. Personality and substance. Can discuss anything ranging from sports to politics. I'm not much into sports but men LOVE a woman who knows her politics. You don't have to be an expert. As long as you know general current events you're fine.

 

3. Career. You do not have to be a doctor or be an ivy leaguer. As long as you're passionate about what you do and can support yourself before he comes along.

 

4. Confident. No trash talking your girlfriends. Looks bad. Not overly high maintenance. I'm a fashionista but I do not take 2 hours to get ready.

 

5. Character. No matter how much of an ******* or douche bag the guy is, they all still want that sweet and caring woman who'd make a wonderful mother.
