LOL.

My mate was just telling me tonight about his online dating horrors stories, and I had to make my own thread about it.

He is a decent guy, not a loser at all, yet THESE are just a FEW of the stories he had to tell!

He has definately learnt his lesson. Put is that way.

Women one: they met at his house. She walked in, and said " do you mind if I get a little more comfortable"

She then proceeded to take her pants off, and just lay on his bed, and kept asking him, while they were watching the TV: " so..... are you sure your comfortable?

He was not interested LOL, so after they fell asleep in bed later, he snuck into the other room, as he did not feel comfortable sleeping next to her.

Anyway - he got into the shower early the next morning. He was just showering, and then he turned around and BOOM: she was standing there!

She gave no warning, and made no noise.. he just turned around and saw her there. She was standing there with her top off and undies on, with her hands on her hips. He was freaked out.

A few days later, she got into contact with this poor guys friend: both guys were members of the same dating site, and given it was a small town, they both ended up meeting the same women on occasion.

Well, the new guy tollerated her for a week or so, as she was not bad looking, and finally after an argument, he told her to please leave: it was not working out. So she left, but half an hour later she came back and brought him a chocolate cake.

They sit and eat a piece of cake, and start arguing again. He tells her that he does not think it is working out, and that they had to part ways.

She leaves. Then comes back and says " give me the rest of my chocolate cake" ( it was a 2 dollar cheap brand of cake you get at the grocery store, and it was half eaten)

.........................

Women two: She met my mate in town. She was very chubby but he sat down with her and the first thing she said to him was: Are you going to be home at dinner?"

My mate is like "what the hell?" He was trying to make sense of what she just said....

Then she is like " you know, I need a partner to be around full time, not PART TIME. I want the guys I date to be home at dinner"

My mate was speachless. She then went on and interrogated him with one or two questions, asking him " so what;s your job then?" in a REALLY harsh manner.

He quickly said " look, I don't think we would work out.."

To which she replied with " yeah, your right, your just like my ex"

Women 3: She was a former model... About 20 years ago. She put her modelling pictures of herself about 20 years younger on her dating profile.

When my mate met her at her house, he was hoping the women who showed up to say hi was the dating ladies mother or sister.. you know, she DID mislead him!

He does not need a model look alike, but a 20 year old modelling picture is just plain dishonest/ misrepresenting herself!

She took him inside to watch TV, and was all over him. Didn't wait for him to make any moves. It was a real turn off to him. I she was a normal and cool girl, he would have made a move and they could have had a fun night.

He had to stay the night as it was a long way to meet her (he foolishly thought she was still stunning like in her modelling pic). They did nto have sex, and he had to make all sorts of excuses to leave, as she begged him to stay.

WELL.

Again, this women ended up meeting up with my MATES, mate!

anyway, they met at a local market, and went straight to his car.

She then jumped at him and started kissing him... And started yelling at passers by " YOUR ALL JEALOUS!!"

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Yeah. He was apparently like "wow, slow down a bit there, um, yeah, I like women and kissing and all but can ya we just take our time for a bit?"

She pulled his pants down and starting giving him a head job, and kept pulling her head up, and yelling at passers by " YOUR ALL JEALOUS"

He was mortified. Did not know how to just ask her to just bloody stop.

......................................... He has more stories, too:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I think mental illness must be rampant in some areas, where there is little to no help?

HE HAS MORE horror stories.... Can you believe it?

Any thoughts?

This made me lol...poor guy! People can be whoever they want to be online. Tough lesson learned.

I can believe it... I have a story of my own, and one for one of my best friend's.

My Story

I had just been accepted into a small college of a bigger well known state university. This college was in the same state, but was at the utter opposate end, and was an 8 hour drive away. I was the only one from my high school going to that college since it was not even heard of by most people in my more urbanized part of the state..err... comonwealth(although now it is known because it was in the news last week for a guy calling in a fake gunman on campus... its in Virginia). It was getting close to graduation of high school, and myspace was still bigger than facebook. I joined a myspace group for the upcoming freshman class. There were a lot of cute girls on the group. I had never dated anyone in high school, and never was kissed. I was shy and awkward. However, behind a computer I could truly be myself when talking to women. I decided to add all of the cute girls and email them all.

That was when Kelly responded. She was from a town only 20 minutes from where I lived. We talked on the phone alot for about a month. Every day for hours on end. I was falling for her a little bit. Then out of the blue her brother emails me and tells me to not visit his sister that there is something she was lying about. I blew it off. I told her about this, and I could hear her yelling at her brother for 10 minutes. We decided to meet the day after we graduated from our respective high schools.

It was my first time going on a date, ever, so I dressed really nice and bought flowers etc... I was nervous as hell when I was driving to see her. She was stuning. I was kind of chuby (but was very good looking at that time acording to many girls, but I did not feel the same way). So I thought to myself, "Why would a girl like this want to meet me?!".

I go to her house. I rind the door bell. An older man answers the door in full marine cammo. He was a marine drill sergeant! He started grilling me right off the bat about everything under the sun. I felt uncomfertable to say the lest, but I was polite. He then walks me into the living room. I sit down on a chair. The girl's mother introduces her self to me, and so does her brother. Her brother gave me a weird look. Then the father/drill sergeant calls for Kelly.

Kelly comes walking down the stairs. I was in shock. I am not a shallow guy... but, she was at least 300 lbs and at most 5 feet tall! She was almost as wide as she was tall. I am 300 lbs myself, but I'm 6'2" and am very big boned (think of football players), but then I was about 200. I know it is pot calling the kettle black. However, she did not portray herself that way in the photos. It was the same person, but a lot bigger. I realized either her photos were of her earlier in high school, or she used photo shop on her body.

I am automatically dumbstruck at this point. However, I am a nice guy and do not want to hurt her feelings or piss off her dad. So I am nice to her. we were going to go to a dinner and a movie. I didn't want to turn around and say I've got to go. So I thought to just go through the date and then come up with an excuse as to why we couldn't date later on.

Kelly gives me a peck on the cheek, and gives me her high school photo for my walat. I give her the flowers. Her father and mother wish us a good time, but her father told me not to do anything I would regret.

We talk in the car, but you can tell it is strained. We go to outback steak house. The waiter gives us both a weird look. We order the bloomen onion as a apitizer. She eats most of it. We then get our main orders, and I kid you not she asks me if she can has half of my food! but I'm nice and give it to her. The whole time I was polite and we had small talk, but I was trying to focus my attention away from her and onto the baseball game on the tv behind her. I just wanted to get this overwith.

We end dinner after about an hour. I want to go home. However, she asks if we can go to a movie. I agree. However, I did not want to see a rom com or a romance. So we see the Omen remake. I sat with my arms crossed the whole time, but she would still try to hold my hand when ever a "scary" thing happened.

After the movie finished at around 8ish, she asks what else do we want to do. I say my dad wants me home before 9, so I have to leave (my father could've cared less, but it was the only excuse I could think of at the time). At this point she is getting very awkward and clingy. She starts talking about how we are going to be the cool couple on campus and everyone would wish they were like us. She said we would get married and have kids right after graduation etc... I was 17 (almost 18) and starting college, I did not want any of that... especially with her.

I am getting weirded out by this point, so I'm breaking all the spead limits to get to her house. A few times I was going so fast the CDs were flying out of the center consol and hitting the windshield. I'd stop and pick them up and put them back. This happened 3 times. Kelly would ask what is wrong. I just told her that I was very worried I wasn't going to be home by 9 and my father was going to be very mad.

I get to her house. I am still a nice guy, so I get out of the car and open up the door for her and walk her to her front door. She tries giving me a kiss, I back off saying well because I'm catholic I can't do that (even though I was never into the religious stuff... I used my upbringing as an excuse). She then gave me a hug and I left.

I get home and am grilled by my father about the date. He started cracking up when I told him and his only response was "Fat girls need lovin' too!". My younger brothers also thought it was really funny.

Kelly was actually going a cruise a few days later, so I knew that I'd tell her I'm not interested before then. However, I couldn't do it. I still emailed her and talked to her on the phone. But not for as long as normal and I avoided anything about the date. She goes on the cruise and says she is going to get me something really nice and her something really sexy to wear for me. At this point I couldn't do it. I manned up and told her something along the lines of "we are both going to start college in a few months. We should stay single and see whats out there. Who knows what the future holds for us. However, right now I want to be single and free."

She responds normally to this and says she understands and feels the same way. I thought the case was closed. While she was on her cruise I went to a 2 day freshman oriontation. I had a boat load of fun and made a lot of new friends... I was already kind of mr. popular. The awkward and shy Will from high school was no more. I met this really attractive local girl... southern, blond hair blue eyes etc... This girl and I stayed in touch throughout the summer and talked for 4 or 5 hours a day on the phone. We confessed our love to each other etc... and we were going to be a couple once college started. However, that did not work out. On my 18th bday, a week after school started, she told me that she had got back together with her ex. I was heart broken but I moved on shortly.

Rewind back to the story. So after I get back home from oriontation I see an email from Kelly confessing her love for me and how she wanted me to give her a chance. She told me how she bought sexy lingerie for her to wear for me, and how she bought me a nice bottle of rum. She told me how she wanted to surprise me with this when she got back and how we would fall in love if I just gave her another chance.

I was really creeped out by this. I did not reply to email. About a week later I start getting calls from her, like 20 a day. I told her that she needs to stop this if she wants us to remain friends and how any interest I once had in her she was destroying. That did not stop her. I actually had to get a new phone because of it. I blocked her on myspace and AIM etc... a month goes by and there is no word from her. The southern girl and I are developing feelings and talking hours a day etc... then one day she told me she was getting calls from someone claiming to be my GF. I asked her who. She said that the girl would not tell her. The southern girl gave me that girls number, it was Kelly. I called Kelly on my new phone and asked her how she found my summer fling's number! she told me she had her ways and that was it. I told her to leave us alone or I was going to get nasty and fight back. She sighed and agreed.

No word from her for the remaining month of summer. I move into my dorm room, and my fling started acting distant etc... then she broke things off, or rather said we couldn't be this way etc... i was hurt. However, that hurt turned into another fling. i got drunk with some of the guys on my floor and went to go vent with one of my friends from oriontation who was a lesbian. She wasn't home, but her roomy was. The roomy started talking to me and actually took advantage of me when I was drunk and down. Not that I minded that. ha ha! That fling fizzled out after about a week.

I'd get random friend request on myspace and facebook from girls that looked like models. However, I was not dumb so I'd deny them. I would see Kelly around from time to time but she would ignore me and I would ignore her. After all it was a small campus with only 500 people living on it at that time (about 1000 commuted), and with only one caf... so kind of hard not to run into people.

A month or two after college started I started a FWB situation with another girl. We both got feelings for each other and started dating. That was my first real GF and my first love, it lasted a little over a year...but that is another story for another time.

While this other girl and I were first fooling around and then dating, Kelly would appear all the time. More than normal. If she saw my GF and I walking she would wip out her cell phone, walk past us, and pretend to talk to someone about the awesome sex they had last night. She was trying to make me jelous, but of course I couldn't care less. Then I started getting IMs from her on AIM, but under a new SN. She told me she had cancer and was dying. I told her I was sorry to hear that (I knew she was lying for attention) etc.. She then asked me to have sex with her as her one dying wish. I told her I was taken and was not a cheater (which was/is true). I then blocked her new SN.

Throughout the first semester of college I'd see her around and she would pull her whole cellphone trick. But things were also weird because my GF at the time was always getting her hair done and always having it different colors. Every time I'd see Kelly her hair color and style for a few months would be the exact same as my gf and would change within a few days of my GF changing her hair cut/color. That was creepy. I mean my GF was as short as Kelly, but she was 1/3 of Kelly's weight.

Apperently one night when I was sleeping over at my GF's dorm room (only a floor above mine) when her roomy was home for the weekend, Kelly apperently bothered my roommate in the middle of the night and tried getting into our room in lingerie and was wanting to wait for me! Even though my roomy and I at this point were not getting along (more from his OCD and being an elitest douche) he still had the goodness to not let her in or tell her where I was.

I was spooked and my GF was spooked. I unblocked her new AIM SN and sent her an offline message saying if she ever contacted me again i was going to campus police and filing a report with them about her harassing and stalking me.

That emailed worked. I saw her on campus and she stopped changing her hair color, stopped pulling out her phone, stopped emailing/calling/IMing me, and stopped showing up everywhere I was. Towards the end of the semester I saw her with a new guy, a much older guy (late 30s early 40s). This guy apperently lived with her in her dorm and got them both kicked off campus... I don't know the story behind that. I never saw her after that semester. However, I do believe she would secretly stalk from time to time for a year or two after that. I would get random adds by models. I would turn them down. However, after my 1st GF and I broke up the middle of the fall semester the next year a cute 18 year old girl who was in her senior year of high school (but was going to my college the next year and was from my home town) emailed me. We talked a little bit. However, I knew something was off. Her last name was Kelly. She did not have many friends on FB, and all the friends that commented on her FB were online friends. We did not talk much, but when we did the way she worded things reminded me of Kelly. However, I still was hoping she was who she said she was. We tried meeting up a few times over winter and summer break, but she would always make excuses to not answer her phone and then last minute change of plans to not meet up. I eventually stopped talking to her all together. That was about 4, maybe 5 years ago. Since then I've had no contact like that.

I forgave Kelly long ago for the drama she put me through. I went through worse drama than that with a few exes and that first roomy I told you about. I can only say I hope Kelly is doing well and is happy, where ever she is, and whomever she is with or will be with.

So that is my extremely long story of what happened to me when i met someone online. I was lied to, stalked etc... Never again will I do online relationships (then again, I've been dating the most amazing woman for over three years now and we plan on getting married in a few more years).

I'm sorry for the really long winded story. I just felt like a writing mood. lol

My Friend's Story

This is much faster.

My friend was a bit of a scum bag/horn dog for a time. He met a "girl" through craigslist's sexual NSA encounters section. Well he goes to this hot young blondes house and it turns out being a 50 year old man. This man answers the door in red lingerie, red lipstick, high heels, red stockings, and a blonde wig. Mind you. He was fat, and didn't shave any part of his body, including his face which had a beard. He told my friend he wanted him to treat her/it/him like a girl. My friend ran back to his car and spead away. He then told me this story. I thought it was the funniest thing I've heard and still rib him about it from time time.

OMG, Leigh, I've never done the internet dating and NEVER will! But your friend is crazy, what the f*ck do you do, inviting complete strangers in your house? If it's because it's cheaper than a hotel, then you sort of are responsible for what's gonna happen next.

I think some guys are just curious to see just how crazy these women are... well, sh*t crazy, apparently, haha!

Oh boy.

you know, you've really just made my day with this post. I had such a wonderful laugh.

I tried online dating in my town of about 65,000. Well, you can imagine that doesn't draw a huge pool for online dating.

Man, I've had some ridiculous stories. I talked to a bunch but only met with like 3-4 people. After that I was done until I move somewhere bigger....

One girl, who comes to meet up for a drink - she starts off by explaining how shes christian and she doesn't drink...despite coming to the bar. Then she looks at some of my japanese friends (I speak Japanese, though am very very white), and says to me "So are they just your friends because you speak their language?"

I looked at her in just the most shocked manner...like....I dont say these kind of rude/ridiculous things to STRANGERS, much less someone I've MADE PLANS TO MEET WITH.

sometimes you just have to look at life like you're that main character in some british / dry humor going "really....? Is this happening right now...? This is ****ing....hilariously disappointing...!"

The chubby girl that talks as men are a commodity and she needs him home at dinner not part time etc.....dudette, THESE PEOPLE ACTUALLY EXIST! I couldn't believe it myself. There are people that think like this and act like "Oh we're dating now and I dont like guys that cheat so I hope youre not a cheater and...."

The whole "I hope you're this, and we are committed" in the same thought processes is almost notorious to weirdly chubby trailer-park girls....I'm sorry that's just the stereotype I've gotten.

I'm also shocked at the # of women who use online dating for sex comparatively for men in the stereotypes. Don't get excited, the sex is always you know, like above. Some sort of weird going on...

I met another girl a couple times and she kept trying to make me jealous constantly when we went out flirting with other guys and wanting me to take her home. I finally did. Then I felt like "I shouldn't have to do this.....****....is this how girls think?"

Online dating, depending on the area, can be very cool.

I was shocked when my sister met her boyfriend onlne. He's REALLY cool. Like. SO MUCH cooler and down to earth and nice and everything over any guy she's ever dated before. They've been together for like 2 years now

Yes it was, I knew he wasn't lying either, he always gets in situations like that... well not with cross dressers but with crazy women/people in general.

Yes, I am glad nothing more happened than what I wrote. Although, I wish her a happy life, but I can honestly say I've not heard from her or anything about her (except for the random adds by model look-a-likes) since December of 2006. So who knows how things for her turned out. Hopefully she matured over those 6 years.

Thanks for the funny stories.

I like the profiles that say "no little boys please." Some of those women are probably this messed up.

I had a friend ages ago who represented herself on online dating as a "dancer".

She never said she wasn't morbidly obese, I guess, but that is the sort of thing you share. She would send face shots but she had a thin face relative to her body, was very photogenic, and knew the angles.

I couldn't get what she thought would happen. Did she think they would be so wow'ed by her personality, they wouldn't care?

She was very big. Size 18... Maybe 20. She did have an exceptionally beautiful face.

She took one out with us and he told me all about it when she was out. (She only told me they met online) He looked miserable, and thought if he just left he would be a "jerk."

OLD was almost always this kind of messed up for me.

One favorite was the "tall" Asian guy who ended up being short and chubby. Not a deal breaker. The deal breaker came after he INSISTED I was his girlfriend after he had some drinks. He got seriously angry when I said I wasn't his girlfriend after one date. Creepy time violent angry. I blocked him on POF and then he blew up my email with passive aggressive weirdo stuff.

Another OLD guy met me at a bar with his guy friend and like 3 of ny girlfriends. He was nice....till shot 5+/- of tequilla then accused me repeatedly of being a lesbian. Strange. Then got all sad and cursed at himself for being so drunk. Then accused me again of being a lesbian.

The last guy I met on OLD I am still seeing occasionally. We both want to be friends (with benefits), so Im having fun :D

She took one out with us and he told me all about it when she was out. (She only told me they met online) He looked miserable, and thought if he just left he would be a "jerk."

Your buddy is such a beta. That's why I park my car at least 2 blocks away. I can outrun the fatties and have enough time to start the car, put on my seatbelt, maybe pick a good song on my ipod, do my taxes, etc. while she hobbles down the sidewalk after me. Those rhinos can do damage if they lean on your car too. I don't think my crown vic could handle 1500lbs of force. A tahoe maybe, but I wouldn't risk it.

A tall asian guy? rofl. Why would you believe that?

OMG, Leigh, I've never done the internet dating and NEVER will! But your friend is crazy, what the f*ck do you do, inviting complete strangers in your house? If it's because it's cheaper than a hotel, then you sort of are responsible for what's gonna happen next.

I think some guys are just curious to see just how crazy these women are... well, sh*t crazy, apparently, haha!

My mate is actually a really laid back and normal, decent guy!

Seriously. Not at all crazy, but a lot of fun to drink with, an crazy in a good way...

I think what happened was: he girl was in the area, and asked if she could stop by. It sounded harmless enough to him...

The former model was just really stunning back in the day, so my mate drove out of his way to see her. This was, of course, one of the first online encounters he had, so he was somewhat naive:D:laugh:
