bimmerb0y Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Met someone through a friend online. Very cute, successful and awesome personality. Gamed her to get her on the phone. Says she misses me, blows me kisses on texts and all that. Her birthday came and I sent her flowers to her work place (one week already since we knew each other). She then had her friends visit from places for her party. Since I live far, I cannot see her. Mind you, we talk and text each other pretty frequently. But I also know this is too good to be true. Why would someone with a dime-look do all this in the first couple of weeks? Too good to be true. So recently, we haven't talked much. I called her twice and she didn't pick up. Yesterday she texted me and said goodnight and she will call me on her lunch. That didn't happened. At work she said she was busy and will call after work. That didn't happen either. This morning she text 'hi'. I said 'hi?'. Nothing the whole day. That was it. Now I feel awkward talking to her. I always make her laugh, she says I am really funny and sometimes I joke with her and she calls me a jerk and stuff (in a playful mean way). I feel as if she is losing interest or her gf's been telling her to back off since I am a LD guy. Anyway, it's kind of stupid now. I guess I will NC her. I feel as if she's stringing me along, which is probably true. I just never thought I would be the guy who was getting played! I also think she is stroking her ego by trying to get attention from me. cerridwen Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Go with your gut instinct. She doesn't add up and has now disappeared. Chalk it up to a lesson in not jumping in so quickly (the flowers were too much, too soon). At least it only lasted 3 weeks!
