stevie_23 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Well...I've endured NC twice in my ex-relationship. The first time was last June. It was a 2 week period of intense hideousness when he got really sick, went into hospital, got married to his partner who he didn't want to marry, and then thought he was going to be sick and old forever so we couldn't be together anymore like we'd hoped and planned. So he told me in a heartfelt email (we were long distance / online only, and each other's affair) that he couldn't be the husband he so wanted to be for me, and we couldn't be together for various reasons that DID make sense. He said he would love me forever and he missed me "so much". I didn't take this lying down. I tried for the next month he was NC. Each week or so I'd write to him. He no longer checked our special email account (he said later it was too painful to go to our "place") but I could contact him through the songwriting forum he went on, through private messages. FINALLY a month later, he wrote back to me. And then slooooowly he came back and we were fine again. But not quite the same. Now? Early December last year, he left me again. This time without telling me. He "disappeared" for 8 days...then wrote a song, telling me it was over (although he wasn't even telling ME. He just wrote it and put it online on that forum for people to hear. But he'd have known I'd hear it at some stage soon after he uploaded it). I wrote to him, again through the forum, and 3 days later he finally responded, explaining what was going on. He wrote back the next day but only very briefly again. So since then it's been NC again, but this time I know he's not coming back.
Sugarkane Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 The ex that hurt me the most cheated on me and left me. I stopped talking to her. Eventually I met some one else and fell in love with them. Same here. And the new boyfriend is far better to me than my exes combined. 1
