lollie Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I'm in the process of getting a divorce and my husband is taking our 3 kids without asking me and says he makes more money so therefore he's moving out of state with them. I dread the day they go which is sept. 1st. I have no money for a lawyer or anything. I dunno what it's like living on my own. I feel so alone. I won't be there to tuck my kids into bed. I won't be there for them. Sometimes, I get like panic attacks or something. I get a strange feeling over me and i start to get shortness of breath and i don't know what to do. sometimes i have very depressing moments and can't stop crying. What can i do for this? it scares me, alot. I really dread for when the holidays come around
uriel Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Have you contacted social services, family programs, and / or family court advisers in your area to find out what your legal options are, given a lack of funds on your own? If not, you should do that immediately. Channel your pain and anxiety into positive action. Sorry you are going through this -- heartbreaking. -- uriel
uriel Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Here, btw, is the URL for the State of WA's Department of Social & Health Services: http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/basicneeds/ You can look up your local DSHS office here: https://wws2.wa.gov/dshs/onlinecso/cover.asp Hopefully they can give you some leads about people who can help. -- uriel
