Ok, so I met these two ladies at a photography workshop back at the beginning of January. I was initially physically attracted to "Susan" but as I got to know them, my interest turned to "Barbara" based on her personality. Like me, she's a bit overweight and working successfully to get back in shape. We also grew up int he same hometown and went to rival private schools. She's also 4 years older. LOL

Anyway, this past weekend we were all at the same workshop again. When the classroom portion was about to start, I had already set my stuff down at a table in the second row and was getting settled when Barbara asked if I wanted to take the seat next to her, which I gladly did.

During the day we did the normal talking and I helped her since she is a complete novice.

Later in the afternoon, I noticed she had walked away from the group and was taking some pictures down the creek. I walked over and joked about her being anti-social and once again we started to talk. We wound up breaking away from the group and walking the Lake Trail together and talking even more in-depth. We took a few photos while on the trail, but it was mostly just 2.5 miles of leisurely walking and talking. Multiple times during our walk she mentioned that she was really enjoying it. We spent almost 2 hours on the trail before getting back to the outdoor center and waiting for the others to come back.

While we were on the trail, I mentioned hiking up Stone Mountain and how the top was a great place to take pictures of the sunset. We talked about it some more and she suggested that I give her a call sometime and we'd go do the hike together and get some sunset pictures outside the workshop group.

The next day, her friend had left to go do something and I went up to her room to ask if she knew anything about when we were going up to the falls for some pictures. She didn't and said she was just watching some tutorial videos on her computer and asked if I wanted to come in and hang out.

Now I'm one of the worst (if not THE worst) at reading women, but it seems to me that she may be interested. She liked Edgar Allen Poe and a theater her in Atlanta has a week long run of a digitally remastered version of The Pit and the Pendulum playing and I'm thinking of asking her if she wants to go.

Any opinions? :)

Definitely ask her out to the Edgar Allen Poe thing. That sounds great.

Second what clia said. Nobody can guarantee you anything, obviously, but those sound a lot like signals of interest to me. If you like her, ask her out!

Yeah, go ahead and knock the bottom out of it.

She obviously likes you.

Ask her out. The Poe thing sounds nice.

When you guys go out, be yourself, but make sure to flirt with her a little bit, so she is not asking herself the same thing you are (does he like me or just want to be my friend).

Sounds very positive! Don't pop the champagne yet, but this chick may want some make out sessions with a certain IT Geek in the very near future.
