So last night I came back to school after having been home for over a month for winter break, and the anxiety really hit me hard. Last semester, I was with my ex and he was a huge support system for me down at school. The break up was tough at home, but I at least had a strong support base in friends/family around and was in a comfortable area.

Now I'm back at school where I don't have that strong support system and don't really have a lot of my own comfort space, so I'm having a really hard time coping :(

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I guess a huge part of me is scared to face this situation without him.

This has happened to me a lot through out my lengthy college career. I'd say your best bet to moving on and to actually enjoy college is to start making friends, or hanging out more with old college friends, focus on your studies, try joining clubs/sororities/sports anything really that will keep you busy. Also, you may want to hook up with a guy or two that will actually help make the pain go away a little.

good luck
