Maggotface Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 So, I know it's not really a big deal, doesnt bother me enough to bring it up to my boyfriend but the sweet things he says to me don't really hold any meaning. I never go through his phone but when he is driving he has me text for him so I can clearly see his past text history when someone messages. Every single girl he talks to he calls them beautiful or gorgeous and that he misses/loves them, I dont care that he talks this way to his friends but it's every girl that he knows, so when he tells me I'm beautiful all I can think is "big deal, you think everyone is beautiful so why should I feel special." He is faithful I have no doubt about that I just can't really appreciate any compliment he gives me.

You should feel special in your bf's eyes. You may get to the point where he compliments you and you don't acknowledge it. Then he's going to think you don't care or that his compliments are not wanted or appreciated. It can turn into an ugly dynamic. I think you should point out that giving everyone the same compliment kind of takes away the value of the compliment in this case.
midnightman1930s Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 there can be 2 things. one that it is probably the way he talks.someone who talks like that would talk like that to everyone,and its a good habit. notice how he deals with not so beautiful women. maybe he is a kind who makes everyone feel better. tell him to do a bit extra for you, and he would do it as he wants to please you. 2 that he is an *******,trying to hook up with every chick , but he doesnt know how to do it. even if he doesnt have skill, there will be a slut who would want to sleep him him, and she is gonna stick around, as they are capable of handling multiple guys at a time. number will increase, from 1 to 2.. and so on.. and soon they would come home. but do keep your mind clean always. love him. the moment things will start u will know.

If this guy is messaging, complimenting and flirting with these girls, sounds like he is just an orbiter who is waiting his chance to steal them... What does that make you?... His backup plan? 1
