Temptation Release- venting instead of doing it

I have been NC for 27 days now. The break up ended in a very ugly way. I was extremely hurt because she gave us another shot that lasted for about three weeks. During those three weeks she acted as if everything was back to normal. She was very lovey and seemingly into the relationship.

I am posting here because I had the extreme temptation to make contact today. I am not doing it. I am posting here instead to vent. I am very optimisitc about reconcilliations in general. I believe that two intelligent people can always find a way to see eye to eye and forgive eachother. That's what made me want to text her: "Why are we doing this? Why are we letting eachother vanish from our lives? Shouldn't we be loving and supporting eachother instead? Shouldn't we be making the worthwhile effort to understand eachother?"

Anyway, that's it. That's my vent. I am extremely tempted to text this because, as I said, I think people can always find a way to work things out. But I won't text it. I know NC is the only way for me to heal.

I agree certain issues can be worked out but both parties have to want to try and put 100% effort in to do so.

Sadly the one who initiates the BU is often too far past that point.

Oh boy are you wrong about that.

Good for you that you found a way not to text her.
