sillyanswer Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 She knows i'll choose that other chick i.e. non virgo one to the virgo one' date=' any day.[/quote'] And we're back to astrology. Just move on, or are Cancers supposed to be known for their tenacity in doggedly failing let go?
sid3 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Virgo? This threads come full circle. Good luck!
Author baldrick'swater Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 And we're back to astrology. Just move on, or are Cancers supposed to be known for their tenacity in doggedly failing let go? Oh man i didn't know how to distinguish one girl from another for the conversation's sake. Virgo = Girl in office= Girl 1 Non Virgo = means girl not in the office= Girl 2
phineas Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I couldn't read all this nonsense, either. It sounds like a bunch of Junior High silliness. I had to stop after the 3rd or 4th paragraph to staunch the bleeding from my eyes. I stopped after I read "virgo chick" Really? How about some cliffs? Trying to excuse someone's behavior over their sign is just dumb. Ask her out or ignore her or ask her out then ignore her when she flakes. 9/10 anything on these boards that has to do with a chick at work ends with ....... she's an an attention whore. The other time the guy was hot & she banged him on the first date. OP, are you HOT? 1
Author baldrick'swater Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Trying to excuse someone's behavior over their sign is just dumb. I aint a big follower of signs but then i was curious she shows very few signs of virgo. But she is intelligent. I had met girl 1 for 2 months and managed to know that she wanted to kiss. So i did. I've had a bunch of fwb in other offices as well. So i do fine looks wise. But is it true that co workers always only want to kiss you because you're hot? I never thought she'd be that shallow
truth_seeker Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 All I can tell you is this: every girl I've gotten was EASY as in, no drama. Every time there's been a headache involved, figuring out why she did this, was doing that, it never worked. Maybe occasionally I would get something out of it but never worked out as far as dating for a long period of time. The way things are today, you have to be quick to judge and cut your losses.

I never thought she'd be that shallow I had a co-worker I hung out with/dated for a few months. She came to my house for dinner & a movie, kiss me on the lips, cuddle on the couch, shut me down for anything more than as she left said "this was fun, we should do it again next month" huh? the next day she said "you know there is nothing romantic going on between us don't you?" I dropped her & didn't talk to her for 6 months when she asked if we could hangout, flaked last min then ignored me after. ran into her with her BF later. 6 months later she asked me out, said she wanted to date then gave me some crap about needing a connection, blah, blah, taking it slow. made lame excuses for blowing me off, didn't even apologize & I pretty much told her i'd have to see something from her to show me she really was interested, not looking for attention & wasn't going to blow me off again. She blew me off again. LOL! i'm hanging with her again but just as friends & she is low priority. I take her shopping with me or invite her to things i'm already doing like help me pick out clothes or going for walks, hikes, ect. but that's it. She has issues which makes her un suitable for dating until she fixes them but she's a cool person & we have common interests so i don't mind her tagging along. Essentially just find someone else & forget about her. 1
TaraMaiden Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Ugh. No go, sorry. One: Please don't refer to women as 'chicks'. It's disrespectful. We don't refer to you as cocks, do we? Secondly, some would say that having lots of FWB's is also shallow. Thirdly - Jeesh. Forget it. Move on. What has she done to dent your ego so much that you had to bang on about it for such a long post - only to find she's told you she's not even interested? Forget it.... Find a new lady to work your irresistible charms on. Treat her like a distant work colleague. because that's precisely what she is.

Office people gossip and some start acting weirdly with me and stop saying Hi or something. Just the Hi in the office would do while we pass so that others dont get a whiff of whats going on between us personally. But she says she cant fake things. She want to eliminate somethings and keep somethings. She says she chooses not to speak to me.

TaraMaiden Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Call her out - in public - in front of others - and tell her to stop gossiping and talking behind your back, act like an adult and be civil. You work together. Deal with it. If she wants to be a rumour-monger, tell her two can play at that game, and you have a few things to tell yourself, but up to now, you've been the perfect gentleman. That may well shut her up - particularly if you show her up in front of others. Don't let her get a word in edgeways, either. Then, just walk off, without a backward glance, and ignore all calls and comments.....

Now some people dont say hi to me anymore, esp the ones who sit in her cubicle. I kissed her and even she said that i did nothing wrong when i did that. So why the whole 'make me look like a creep' game. Why the constant way to get attention from me.
TaraMaiden Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 She may not be gossiping (are you sure about that? Might she be playing into the cosy female sharing chats that women seem to be so good at?) but as you say - by not denying it or nipping it in the bud, she's feeding it. I still say you need to call her out in public. Somehow. Tell her to quit playing stupid games, be more mature and get over herself, she's not 'all that'. Grow up and just act like a normal colleague. You're not interested in being her little ball tied to a bat with a rubber string. Just put it behind her and move on, because you're not interested in office dramas. Now quit being childish and grow up. 1
FitChick Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 A perfect example of why you should never date coworkers. 1
