Leigh 87 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Have any of you guys REALLY thought you were in love with a girl, only to discover that you in fact, were not? I am talking about: being with a girl for at least 2 years, and honestly believing you truly loved her, only to discover that you love her like family, but are not actually "in" love with her? What made you realise this about her? Was it meeting someone you felt "it" with? Or did you just feel disatisfied long term, without that true love spark? Remember, I am asking men who truly DID feel in love, and who were REALLY Into the girl for a long time, before they realised it was not true love.
TheBigQuestion Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Aye aye. My first girlfriend back in the day. From ages 17 to 20.
Eternal Sunshine Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Leigh! I hope you are not stressing yourself out over this again... 1
TheBigQuestion Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I feel like what happened to me is very common among couples in their late teens though, so I wouldn't take it too seriously. Yeah, I was sure I loved her, then she slowly but surely turned into a crappy person. I can't date people whom I perceive to be crappy. So it fizzled out. Simple, really.
