ImperfectionisBeauty Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I am going to start doing strict dieting and workouts and I'm thinking of buying diet pills, I already have sensa to make me lose weight. I went to a doctor yesterday for a check up and I gained 5 pounds. I know winter is that time when you gain but I don't want to be fat. I hate how I look I'm fat and if I can't get a guy now lord knows me + 5 more pounds = no boyfriend ever! I'm thinking I might buy hydroxycut or something so I can get a flat stomach. No more fast food I'm only eating stuff with 0 fat in it, and I'm gonna start working out in my school.. I can get fit and meet hotties. Win win

None of the pills I've stuck with (and used for a few months and followed directions to a T) worked! Stay away from anything that says Hudia (some cactus stuff... doesn't work), Aki Barry... and stay away from Alli pill! If you want to have sudden bursts of the shivering squirts and or possibly crap your pants then this is the pill for you. Also, the fact that when you poo it looks like a literal oil spill in the water is also a great plus! To top it off you lose less than 2 pounds a month. My two best recomendations for you, is low cal diet for lenghty stints of a dieting or the adkins diet if you want to lose a lot of weight fast (but you will gain a lot of it back once you get off of the diet. That is unless you gradually get off of it). I dunno how the adkins diet is now, but I did it several years ago for about 3 months and stuck to it, I lost around 60 lbs. However, once I got off of it I gained all of that back, plus about 20. Good luck!

I wouldn't use those diet pills cause even if they work it won't last, you'll gain back the weight as soon as you stop them won't you? They just don't seem safe. You have lots of time til summer just eat healthily, what's a typical day of food like for you? 1

I just don't like how I look, I feel fat but I guess some people wouldn't think I am. I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin you know?

However, that means you can only eat meat. No carbs, No sugars, No starch... just baked, boiled, grilled meat. And no more than 10 carbs a day after the first week. It gets tough really fast, even if you are a meat and potatos type of person, like me... but you lose weight so fast.

No breakfast, and I eat fast food almost everyday, pizza and subway and chipotle (my weakness) then I skip dinner sometimes but if I don't skip it's some kind of meat (almost always baked) and vegetable and potato (mashed. Scalloped, etc..)

In general, the body needs about 15 calories (varies depending on age/sex/activity level) per pound to maintain your current weight. So if you weigh 100 lbs - you would need to consume 1500 calories a day to maintain that. Create a defecit and you will lose weight. Don't go too low on calories. Eat whole unprocessed foods (and greasy good stuff in moderation LOL) and you'll be good to go. 2

Scalloped, etc..) Okay you eat like s.hit. You need to eat breakfast. Cut out the white carbs (incl potatoes, you can eat sweet potatoes they are super good for you). No white pasta or bread or rice. Wheat only. Heres my meals for today: breakfast- Clif bar, apple, cup of coffee lunch- 1 baked sweet potato, 1 slice veggie lasagna, salad of spinach w/ tomatos and green onion, tortilla chips, carrots supper- Im gonna have tofu scrambled on one piece of toast with spinach/tomatos/onion mixed in it You don't need diet pills, you just need to eat better. 2

I think you should just try to eat better for a month and see what happens before you resort to the quick fixes! I usually make my own food but I eat subway sometimes or get pizza! I love pizza!! I would eat it every day if I could lol. I'm vegetarian not vegan. I eat cheese and I eat sandwiches a lot..but like for example if I put cheese on a sandwich its one of those 35 cal laughing cows, not tons of sharp cheddar ya know? yeah if you cut out fast food I'm sure you'll be fine. or just make better choices w/ the fast food. NO POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't drink calories if you wanna lose weight.

I'm losing weight now because I eat fish, chicken, veggies, fruits, oat meal etc... nothing fried, nothing breaded etc... also, I only eat about once a day since I work full time and go to school at night. I eat about 1000 callories a day. I've lost a bit of weight this way. The only way though I'm keeping sain and not splurging is I drink lots of water, coffee (with sweet 'n low), sugar free red bulls etc... to fill my stomach and keep my energy going. I also smoke a lot... and that surpresses my hunger. However, I don't suggest picking up smoking, I've been doing it for 6 or 7 years at a pack a day, and it is expensive, nasty, and bad for you. 1

So my mom literally just called me downstairs and said "I got some laughing cow cheese do you like that" haha well I have never had it but I assume I will soon . Eh, however in regards to losing weight. A better diet. Do not and I repeat do not drink you cals. I do green tea with xylitol. Or black coffee with splenda or stevia. Or cucumber water and lemon water. I barely count carbs but I don't eat processed. I only do ezekiel bread. No white flours, no potatoes, no white sugar. I am not a big veggie eater but tons of greens. It is better in the long run to eat good quality foods. However it is all cals in and cals out. 1

They are very good for you and will fill you up. Make half a dozen hardboiled eggs and keep them in the fridge for when you are hungry. Drink green tea, herbal tea, black tea. Protein shakes in a can are something you can bring with you. Try different protein bars. Some are horrible, some are tasty. Stay away from fake sugar as that is worse than real sugar. Have half an ounce of bittersweet or 72% dark chocolate as a treat. It is surprisingly filling and very good for you. Eat as much salad as you like but stick to vinaigrette type salad dressing and not the roquefort or ranch dressing type. Vegetables fill you up and are good for you. 1

Salads are pretty much the staple of my diet. I lost about 40 lbs on the aformentioned diet in about 3 or 4 months. However, between xmas and a week ago I totally threw the diet out the window... because of family and stuff. However, I'm back on it again and doing well. AWell you can eat ranch and blue cheese yogurt dressing etc... but you have to get the shoppers or whole foods type, they are zero cal. yes, zero cals! but they taste like battery acid. lol. I generally just use hot sauce on every thing. You may be right though about snacking. My problem is I work full time, go to class 3 nights out of the week and one morning on my day "off"... on those days my one and only meal is at 11pm... because use my lunch break and down time at work to either write on this site or do home work! I always found that funny that I'm fat, yet I eat once a day (and when I do it is mostly home cooked food)... my brother who is half of my weight, thin as a rail, and only two years younger eats fast food three meals a day! go figure. lol 1

As others have suggested, cut out the white, processed carbs, eat more protein and greens, and eat breakfast. And - yes, as has been said before - it is all in your head. Those extra pounds you are carrying are not what is keeping you from getting into a relationship. 2
2sure Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I do a liquid cleanse detox thng every couple of months for 3 days. Any kale smoothie or shake without dairy and will do. Drops 10. 3 days is it tho. Its just kind of a reset when I've reached one size up. 2
