barbossa Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Nicer clothes? Cooler car? How would you protect yourself against people wanting you just for your money?
fortyninethousand322 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Say I won like $50 million in the lottery? I'd buy a small townhouse and make like I had a real job until I actually decided to marry someone.
KungFuJoe Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 You'd get more dates but it wouldn't make finding the right person any easier.
soccerrprp Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 If I hit the jackpot, very little would change. That way there'd be a better gauge as to whether she wanted me or the money/wealth.
somedude81 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 With a bunch of money I could buy the shoes that Joe showed me. Seriously thought, with more cash I could wear the expensive stuff. Would that help my dating life. I don't really think so. Nice car. No affect at all. I need to get the date first before they see my car. Though I could get a personal trainer and a nutritionist. Having somebody make my meals would be nice
edgygirl Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Jet-setting around the globe probably makes it easier to find good catches 1
OJ loved Nicole Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Mine would. I'd buy a new hooker every night... 1
El Brujo Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 With a few million, I could succeed where SuperBowlSingleGirl.com failed---a couple of years ago she tried to raise $3M to run an ad on the Super Bowl. She wanted to advertise for a husband.
charlietheginger Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Any man with.millions would have more confidence he would Not be afraid of a woman not liking his car or house.
ThaWholigan Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 It would kinda change my dating life. I'd be able to provide for a potential family, financial independence. But not a drastic change, just a slightly wider pool.
Palominas Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Not at all, unless you plan on buying a mail order bride or a gold digger. I have a very good career and no debts other than a mortgage. I sock away a lot of money each month in savings. I don't see what more money would give me in regard to women, even if it was a lottery ticket win or a Bill Gates fortune. If anything, I think women are more into status or being able to provide, if suddenly the family went bankrupt, than a guy's wealth. IMO.
Imported Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 It would. I'd expand how I do things. I don't think I am capable of a lasting relationship. However, I am really good at starting new ones. No worries about gold digging women. They will never be with me that long. I will find a new one and a new place to live every two to three months. We'll have huge amounts of fun, it will be amazing. And then it will be over before it ever gets bad. Life would become one continuous cocktail party spanning the globe. I'd dress myself in the finest threads, from classically manly to rediculously rediculous just because. 50 year old whisky? Put it in a glass, mix it with some diet coke. Top shelf just went to a whole new level.
KungFuJoe Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 50 year old whisky? Put it in a glass, mix it with some diet coke. Just cuz you're rich doesn't mean you have to be a frickin crazy lunatic!
CptObvious Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I wouldn't be dating at all if i had enough money to buy out the red light district in amsterdam
MrCastle Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I would either use it to make our fantasies come true (travel with her, do everything in life we ever wanted to do) Or I would invest it in a lifelike sex doll and quit the dating scene altogether and use the rest of the money for selfish reasons. Either or.
todreaminblue Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Nicer clothes? Cooler car? How would you protect yourself against people wanting you just for your money? Most rich guys have protection against this, they havent gotten to where they are by being gullible, they probably do background checks, have a standing pre nup ready and have financial advisors who have to ok certain transactions......they would probably try and hide the fact they have money as a test......I am sure they have ways to protect their interests .......to me it becomes a bit underhanded when you have to hide who you really are, where you live what you do for a living so trust is an issue....i believe that anyone in a relationship should walk away with what they came into a relationship with......unless children were involved and that the children should always be supported equally by mother and father...as far as impressing a dating pool with a car and clothes i have trouble telling a holden from a ford....i know what a beetle looks like and a mini minor...and i like white shirts....thats about it...so impressing me cant be done with money....deb 1
Lani Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 For me, yes it I think it would make things easier. I'd be able to afford to do all the fun things I want to do, and therefore expand the amount of people I'm interacting with and meeting. Not because I'd have more money and seem like a better catch.
