I know this may sound silly, but I have never gotten back with an ex before.

Is it normal for people to break up for a few months and get back together... after one has kissed another person?

For some reason I cant get it out of my mind that it had happened, its left me to feel bitter towards him and paranoid about it. I know we were broken up for 4 months and its not cheating. But the fact I was trying to work things out with him by trying to communicate and not getting much response back. (Me still being confused on what happened between us) (he needed to figure out his life and work on things, and he did) We still had an apartment together but he had moved out and thats the only way we ever talked or even saw each other was about closing out the apt.

How do I move on from the fact he kissed a girl while we were broken up? Why do I feel so affected by this? She was the one that actually kissed him and he was not attracted/or into her at all, just as a friendship. but of course he let it happen. We got back together two weeks after it had happened.

Please some advice people!

You're going to HAVE to figure out a way to just let it go. What's done is done. He kissed other people before you even know he existed, didn't he? Think of it that way. You two have been given the chance that myself and almost everyone on this board would KILL to have: a chance to try again. You are starting a new relationship together, think of it that way.

Kissed is that it lol? My ex slept with 2 boys within 3 weeks of finishing, claiming it 'was a huge mistake and she didn't know what she was doing'. Yeah. Twice. How are you supposed to get past that and give another chance? The answer is you can't.
