reptilelover88 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Hello, I have been with my boyfriend for four months and we have a happy and close relationship. I have never been anything like this happy with anyone else. I graduated last summer and since then have been working on some projects and teaching part-time. This has left me a fair bit of free time - much of which I've spent with my boyfriend, which has been lovely. He is still at uni so I've been visiting him there often and vice versa. However, I am now looking for a job in my intended field. I have an interview next week and will probably have more soon. Things are moving very fast! Once I have a job I will also be moving and renting my own place. This will obviously mean changes in my relationship. On the plus side, I will have much more money and will feel more contented. On the negative side, I will be much busier and won't be able to spend so long with my boyfriend. My boyfriend is very happy for me, but I was just wondering how we can best manage this transitional phase? He is still at uni so hasn't been through the whole job thing. I'm sure he will be very successful but he hasn't reached that stage in his life yet. I suppose I'm a bit worried that we'll grow apart because my life is going to change so much and he's not coming with me (at least, not yet). I'd be grateful for any tips and advice on managing the change so we can be a stronger couple than ever. Thank you!
