Hi, this may be an obvious question, however, I'd like to hear a female point of view.

I met this girl about 4 years ago, we were talking for 2 hours or so, and then it turned out that she had a boyfriend. Two years later, I ran into her again, at a bar, so I asked her if she was still in that relationship, she told me she just broke up, so I asked for her phone number and she gave it to me. When I called her, she told me that as she was just finishing a relationship, and she wasn't ready for dating etc etc. A couple of weeks ago, I had to use an old contacts backup I had, since I lost my cell phone, and there I saw her contact. I decided to text her, and she inmediatly remembered me, she told me right away the 2 places we've met before (2 and 4 years ago). Then I told her I was out of town, and asked her if she wanted to do something at my return. She said yes. One week later I returned and we exchange many text messages while we were trying to setup a date, and she always answered like very friendly. We were supposed to meet on thursday, and finally she told me she had to work late, so she suggested saturday, and I said, ok. Finally, this saturday I texted her saying something like "should i pick you up at 9?", and she didn't answer. After one hour, I called her and she didn't answer so I leave her a voice message.

That's it, I haven't contacted her again, but the thing is that I really like her. Should I just move on?? I know that's the correct answer, however, I don't get to meet girls like her that often. Should I swallow my pride and contact her again? I know she won't contact me, even if she wants to because she must me ashamed or something. Is she afraid of falling in love? LOL.

Your opinions are welcome

I agree....should look to move on.

the ball is in her court...she has your number...its up to her.

Though I am surprised she bothered to respond to you if she wasnt at least interested.

I know how to read the signs when someone is interested, sadly when that happens, is always some girl I'm not that interested. I think I'm not alone in this kind of situations.

I'll might send her one last text message, finally there's not much to lose at this point.
