pinkttulips Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I have been facebook friends with a guy that I went to high school (long ago) for a couple yrs now. I was very shy when we were in school and had a crush on him back then, but back then we never talked (due to shyness). Anyways, he works where I do now, but in a different dept. We talk in passing, because that is all we have time for, so on Christmas eve, I just sent him a quick email via fb, wishing him a Merry Christmas and said that since we dont have time to really visit at work that we should go have coffee or get a drink or something. He read it (according to fb), but didn't reply back. (just a bit of info also: I haven's asked, but pretty sure he went thru a divorce some time in 2012, because he no longer lists on his profile that he is married and no longer wears a ring). Anyways, now at work, I find him coming downstairs more often when I am at break or lunch to get a soda out of the machine, etc... and looking at me a little more and saying something real quick, then goes back up to his desk, but he hasn't mentioned anything about my email and us meeting somewhere. So, not sure what to take of this. His actions are just a little bit different, but yet he hasn't said anything. Why hasn't he responded? Did I do the right thing? How do you think he took my email? Any opinions would be appreciated, I'm not good at this stuff. Thanks in advance
