vippy Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Ok, so here's the deal. Me and my boyfriend broke up a week ago. Untill yesterday i thought that we could give it one more try. I could've said that I loved him, but now that i've finally understood that it's over, i sort of have doubts about it... Yesterday my best friend and i went to a local park to meet other friends of ours there. We had a lot of fun there, untill my ex and his friends came by... By the way, there was this girl with whom my ex tried to make a short-term relationship at camp... He was totally ignoring me which was frustrating enough, but when i saw him flirting with other girls and smoking in front of me, i remembered his words to me: "Don't you ever smoke! You see, I quit smoking and I dont want you to smoke " and stuff like that, that REALLY freaked me out. But that's not the point. I got to know some of his friends and they turned out to be very nice people. I was sort of depressed cause of the alcohol i'd drunk and meeting my ex, this girl who was my ex's friend came along and we had a conversation, at the end of which she asked me whether i love him and i told her that yes i do love him. Afterwards, when we were leaving, this other girl, who was already pretty drunk [my x's friend] just went screaming that she hates him cause of all the stuff he did at camp [meaning the cheating thingy]. That made my ex really confused. When we went home, i turned around and saw that girl and my ex discussing our relationship... Afterwards I went for a walk near my house to find my x's really good friend trying not to look into my eyes. Then he told me that when i left, this first girl [whom i told that i still love my ex] came up to him and told him that I am sort of sad of the break up. He said that its none of his business now and that he doesnt care coz we already broke up. So. Then my ex came along to find me inside of my thoughts with tears on my face. He asked me whether anything had happened and that he talke to the girl about our break. I told him to just go away and he did. He asked my best friend whether I was depressed about him, him flirting with other girls, or another guy. He made an accent on the other guy thingy. She just said that none of the reasons to cover me. I'm moving to another country soon and i know that in about three years my ex will move there too. Really tough. I know we should stay friends, but I wanted us to be together. I know we cant be, but still i cant keep it out. Scool starts soon and i don't know how to react when i see him. My best buddy says that if i act as if nothing had happened, he will be begging for me But we wont see each other in three years! ARGH! Damnit. What will you say to that?..

prevch Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I think she just wants to know if there's hope and hunny trust me thereis always hope. Think of what you want to happen, be confident it will happen, pray that it happens, and I am guessing that it will happen. Best of luck!
