Mr.White Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Basically my g pa is in the hospital for a stroke and when my mom was in the hospital my ex and her mom were there for me and help keep my mind off of things, etc. Now since I am single I only have family and not having anyone there just kind of sucks. I live with my grandparents currently as well and I am 18 years old. Any advice or tips? I have been NC for almost a month, until my ex broke it a week ago by telling me she left my stuff at the front door and I gave her a simple reply of "I got it, Than you. Maybe we can be friends in the future." I know breaking NC will not really do anything as she no longer is obligated to comfort me emotionally but it is so tempting.
Blebly Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 It all depends on what caused the breakup , the terms it happened on etc...since you give no details anyone giving "advice/tips" is just gonna blabber about it We don't know you , we don't know your ex
geegirl Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Seek comfort from your family and deal with the emotions on your own. You have to sever that dependence on your ex. How will you cope with future struggles that come along the way? Keep seeking her for comfort? 1

How will you cope with future struggles that come along the way? Keep seeking her for comfort? Thank you. I have been dependent on someone else to deal with my own emotions. Time to become independent and deal with it like a man should. 1
