Sometimes when you lose, you win.

And for the dumpers, sometimes when they win they really lose.

Posted

Every time you lose, your winning potential goes up. It's in you to rise from the flames, and soar to better heights.

When dumpers dump, they ALWAYS lose.

Because Dumpers unfortunately, are intrinsically lazy, and always seem to run rather than stay and work on it.

I like that.....mine said it it may well be the biggest regret he has looking back in the future

I hope it is.....

I hope I feel as though I've won something soon, even breaking even would be a relief.

Ummm i usually really like your posts a lot .....but hitting dislike button on this one.

Come on "intrinsically lazy" , "always lose"

I mean I'm a BIG dumpee supporter here but this sentiment seems a little too one sided for me. Although i do feel like the " her/his loss not mine" attitude helps to recover. Is this what you meant?

Did you sleep well last night? :) Cav

Good point. just remembered I dumped someone because they were violent towards me.

I didn't feel intrinsically lazy or like a loser in that situation.

Dumpers aren't all intrinsically lazy. Each story is different, everyone gives up for different reasons. Dumpees like to believe the dumper will feel like a loser at some point, but doesn't always happen.

I didn't sleep well last night. A glass of wine turned into a bottle, then only two hours of terrible sleep. Plus the 3-4 hours I got the night before. I'm a zombie at work right now.. If I didn't have meetings I wouldn't be here.

Actually, my bad.... I mistook the OP for someone else.

C'mon, you should all know me better than that.... I evaluate each person's comments from their personal experiences... the comment I made isn't set in stone - I'm all too well aware that it's a generalised comment....but like I said, I actually thought Stoic44 was another member....

Well I can really see how I have won in many other fields. I've become better than ever physically, emotionally, etc after the break up. But I've not become better in the love field. I am still not ready to date. Thinking about her although not longing for her.

However after she left me, she has been dating & dumping at least a couple more of guys. She has what she wants: attention, new honeymoon period with every guy, not feeling alone, you name it. I know that is "losing" in the sense that this is not helping her for the future, neither solving her issues.

So deep inside my thoughts are:

I don't have what I wanted: I am "kind of" losing

She has what she wants: She is not losing (not yet)

I know his email address....but will never contact him don't worry. haven't blocked him yet as have been working late. I can't do it on my work pc or ftkm my smart phone. will do it this weekend when I can get on my computer at home.

To be honest the anxiety is now more to do with work....things aren't going well.

I am emotional & shaking all the time and I cant function. it isn't just him...work is going pear shaped.

I don't know what "local" is. I'm also east coast (northern) but that's as detailed as I will get on here.

Yes you do. Local means... are you from here? But is only relevant if you are speaking to someone locally. :)

Ha! I meant I don't know where she lives, so can't answer as to whether I'm local or not.

Loco though, for sure :)

Oh I like this. I like this a lot!

It's actually true too. Since being dumped, I've soared to the highest places. I'm so happy being me now, so happy with life.

My ex... all I know about him is that he tried a new relationship, it blew up in his face. He jumps. He doesn't work on anything. He is lazy. So I guess it's not really working out too well! HA!
