I really appreciate it We spent the night together on thursday night and she said to me from the beginning that she doesn't want a relationship since because she wants to be single, focus on her studies and the long distance factor doesn't appeal to her. *She still said she wants to see me casually. I asked her how much of your decision to stay single is based on me....she said "about 30%" - she comes from a jewish background and I'm from a muslim family so our relatives wouldn't be too happy. We had a great night in together so I thought why not see her on a casual basis every now and then so we planned to go out with a few friends for saturday night (last night). Once most of our friends cancelled, the night out was cancelled all together. I asked her if she wanted to spend the night just with me but she said no since it's too much since we already saw each other a couple days ago. That settled in my head that she only is in it for the sex. The text messages were quite plain and business-like afterwards. It hurt me since I really like her...so I told her I can't do this anymore because I have feelings for her....she didn't reply. She seemed quite cold and only seems to be proactive in seeing me when she wants sex....I thought there was more to it. It was only the first time she admitted to wanting just sex. When it comes to the physical side of things, she was the best I've ever had. It's time to close this chapter and move on. My saturday night ended up with a few tears shed and a glasses of wine downed. I'm not gonna bother with her again so now I'm looking forward for what comes in my way next. Thanks again guys * 2
Joaquin Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I get the whole just be open and let the cards fall as they do... But I would say never tell a girl you love her first. I think girls generally need to feel that they have to work for your heart and your attention. It is possible that she could have picked up a heart connection to you at some stage in the 3-9 month period and would have spilled her heart out to you. I think guys need to be slightly aloof on the issue of I love you when with a new girl and not to show that sort of vulnerability until the girl shows she is ready for it. It sounds gamey, but that has been my experience.
