I'm not even sure if she has a bf yet. I don't know what to do? I can't just ask her if she has a bf or get too personal because I'm afraid she might feel uncomfortable at work and never talk to me again. Help!
JDP25 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Don't ask her if she has a boyfriend because, if you do her assumption is going to be that you want a relationship asap. Better off if you just keep talking to her casually. Simple How you doing? Hows things on your side? Get her to open up to you before asking the boyfriend line. Ask her out for lunch and more person to person contact first. Test the waters. Once you know, if she is in to you ask for the boyfriend. That is when she will be honest or open to talk to you, if she does. If she says yes I have a BF be humble and don't try to convince her that your better for her. If her relationship is falling apart be on the side lines but don't make a fast approach for her to get into a relationship with you. Then you will just be the rebound. Then she will just jump out of the relationship with you and go back to her ex or someone else. Also, if she just got out of a relationship or is having troubles with the current one don't be her emotional pillow.
RachR Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 For the boyfriend thing, you just casually bring it up in conversation somehow connected to something else. Like, "Oh your car broke down. Did your boyfriend drive you to work today?" or something. Personally, if I'm into a guy, I always try to somehow insert into a conversation that I don't have a boyfriend.
