I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said that I should go to a sports bar near the Georgia Dome a few hours before the game and just randomly ask women if they want to accompany me to the game. I think that's a little...odd...even if I had the nerve to do it. Opinions?

Of course after that, you might not have the $$$ to keep the "relationship" going, so it's a 1 time thing. If that's good enough for you, then enjoy the hot chick 1 time.

I think that's a little...odd...even if I had the nerve to do it. Opinions? Well, make sure she "actually IS single" and doesn't have a boyfriend on the side, and is using you. But its not a bad idea to go to a Sports Bar tonight or Friday night and scope out some hot girls and get their digits. At the very least, its a good conversation opener, to talk about the NFL playoffs and that you have something (besides your good looks) that a girl might want. It will give you some extra confidence in approaching new women. Or maybe contact an hot girl that you know from before, and ask her to attend the game with you.

Women at a venue-area sports bar prior to a big game are there for a reason, or two. IMO, focus on the game and pick someone to ask who sounds like they'd be a fun companion and take that synergy and grow it in the suite. I presume you're a football fan

Yea, I doubt I'm going to. I can't even get up the balls to talk to women in a normal setting, much less asking them on a random date. And I just scored the tickets yesterday. Couldn't really plan ahead.

Choose a hot, shallow woman who you know will dump you as soon as the game is over when she finds out you are not rich BUT have your friend takes lots of photos of the two of you together. Then when you meet another woman later on, you can show the pix and pretend she was your ex. She will be intrigued as to how you got a woman like that. You can say you dumped her because she was too shallow and you are looking for long term. 1

I had one friend with me, and I decided to just find cute fun girls and ask them, took two whole groups to get a yes, and I even made them scalp their general admission tickets and give me the cash. Nothing really came of it, me and the girl still talk a bit, but we didn't even hook up at all.

Sometimes you can become very comfortable after a few years at the job site. Before you stick your foot into your mouth any further, my grad field is almost exactly the same as his. You clearly have no idea what most PhD students are paid, regardless of field. The funniest thing is that on another thread I was one of the few attempting to help you with your browser issues (until I gave up when you said you had no idea how to access your router and threw your manual away and couldn't be bothered to look it up online ). I certainly didn't get any 'liberal arts woman' bullschyt from you then, did I? Typical. Because I graduated with my masters from GA Tech in 1991 and am a Sr IT Infrastructure Architect.
